I read the Summary by Gubz, and I agree with a lot of what he said. But let me tell you about MY Destiny experience: Before the beta even dropped, I youtubed destiny. Saw the game play, and pre-ordered on the spot. When I downloaded it, I did not choose to download in the background. Ain't nobody got time for all that. And from just the title screen and its music, I had a beeming smile. I quickly chose warlock, because it was "the jedi-like one", I mean whom else would one want first?! I quickly noticed the start was from the game play I had already seen. After passing the first level, I looked around. There were other people around a little bit. It was the first day. I noticed the great lighting, the music, the sound effects, and how realistic the water all over looked. Far away, close up, people in it, whatever. One of my friends asked me how it looked, and I simply told him, "it's quite possibly the prettiest thing I've seen since heavenly sword." And wouldn't you know, he started downloading it. But me, I sure wasn't about to put the game down, nor wait for any of my friends to catch up. I sat straight through, 1 level after another, and I think i even did 1 level twice on accident. But I sat straight through all of the levels, 1 sitting. I was very disappointed to find out there was only 6 on the beta. But what do I know about a beta? I AM THE PROTOTYPICAL SECOND HAND FROM GAMESTOP GUY. I buy games LATE. Oh they are much cheaper that way, but I always get in late. It doesn't matter to me, because I am a quick learner, and I just love beating games. If a game holds my attention, that will be my only entertainment until I beat it. My DVR works just fine. I may have to break for football, but I digress. When I saw the commercial for Destiny, I said to myself: I may not be the smartest person, but it looks to me like someone done gone and made an up to date HALO for playstation. I will NOT be late on that game. Not that 1. Back to topic, I finished the whole thing in one sitting. I was so disappointed!! Only allowed to progress to level 8? I see how it is! But I noticed that all of the powers were still filling up. So there is more to do. Okay. Well, l decided to try the P.V.P- I immediately noticed that there were only two maps. I have to say, I really preferred Venus over the moon. I also noticed there was only "Domination", and that I couldn't hear NOBODY else's mic. So interesting, so new, so not "Call of ish-talking"! I cannot tell you how many great shooting sessions were quickly followed by whining, bitching, name calling, and cursing sessions of no end! But not HERE. On Destiny, you can only talk to and hear people on your fire team. That means a much happier gaming session. No random person you never met or will never meet in person, is gonna say something that ruins your night. That alone, makes me smile. The second sitting, my friend had finished downloading and hit me up. And that is when the real fun began. As soon as he passed the first stage, I added to his fireteam, and he and I ran through the game top to bottom. I particularly enjoyed making him go first. Explaining things to him, such as: Just know that the monsters will only chase you so far, and then they are gonna go back to where they were before you saw them. He and I played maybe 8 matches in the crucible, and HIS buddy finished downloading. So we ran it from top to bottom with Him on hard. Let me tell you: Hard is much harder than normal. You can't be running through all cocky slicing fools like butter, because they WILL kill you. Finally, with the three of us "Done" with the PvE, we set out to try and make a run at some PvP. We also happened to each be a different character. And with the 3 of us able to communicate, control of 3 areas with 6 people was more feasible. Contrary to the experience of Gubzs, I found that hunters had an EXTREME advantage during PvP. There are 3 reasons for this: 1 The Golden gun, when used properly is 3 shots of Death, at least! 2 there is a power up that allows an extra shot if you hit someone with a knife. That's 4 shots of death, and 1 death by knife. The fire-team only has 6 people!! This makes hostile take-over of any flag, a 1 skilled hunter job, allowing them more captures and nuetralizations. 3 The animation glitch. Many times, after getting hit 5 or 6 times by low powered weapons, I can activate the golden gun. As the rest of the bullets don't affect me, and they try and reload, I hit them with the golden gun. Now while I'm griping about what I didn't like, let me say the throwing knife if much more deadly than the hand blast, based merely on a higher range. I also found that mutual death happened FAR FAR TOO often. And that many accidental deaths- such as death by my own grenade- are credited to whomever I happen to be shooting at. This MUST be resolved. Mis-crediting of deaths was probably actually my biggest hang up over all. We soon learned of the Iron banner. All of the new maps seemed so so so refreshing. But guess what? Just like the moon and Venus, there are places on the map that you can get stuck on, in, or at, THAT WILL KILL YOU. I know that I am not the only person that got the turn back 9 second count down to death. There are perfectly good sniping places that are basically glitches. Oh there are good sniping spots. There is no nice way to say this, but if you show me a roof, and I figure out a way to jump up to that roof, I expect to be able to walk across that roof. If you don't want me on that roof, then fence it off or something. I know the ability to jump does improve at some point, so please, fence it off, or make it higher and unattainable. The 9 second count down is okay for maybe going out too far in the water. But don't make a void of death in the middle of the map that kills me after I spent so much time trying to get there. And if it is the edge of the map, put a glass wall there or something. Especially the moon. There is an obvious sniping ledge right by the spawn near "A". Now if I go up there, sooner or later I am going to try and see if I can follow the mountain top to the left. Why is there a death void there? I soon decided to try and go through the map with a fine tooth comb. How many of these death zones are out there? Too many to count. I found a lot of loot boxes

im really glad you guys listen to your fans and try to improve the game and make as many people as possible, but im sure you guys have already figured out not to many people like the idea of no matchmaking during raids, I personally don't mind to much, but at least make it easier for the people to find people to raid with in game, like a board in the tower people can acess to find certain people doing certain activites, I think this would help a great deal, its such a simple task and solves a huge problem

Really would appreciate an extended beta atleast a few days past august 3rd since i have been on vacation i know its selfish but i'm rlly trying to determine how much i want this game.
