Does PvP use dedicated servers?
Does PvP use dedicated servers or are the games hosted from a single player console?
I have not seen an official answer to this.

Dice has dedicated servers and I don't have a kill delay on there. On destiny I do have a kill delay. Not sure if that has to do with servers vs hosts though.

On Xbox One I believe, not sure about PS4.

I can't say for sure, but based on what I've experienced so far it seems to be running on dedicated servers. Maybe ask Bungie in the next mailsack.
