The fact that people are getting pissed off about people posting Destiny-related things on a site wholly dedicated to the company that is creating and promoting Destiny just goes to show how utterly idiotic this community is. Seriously, what was going through your head when you figured that people posting Destiny-related threads in #Gaming was wrong? That's like saying you can't post Halo-related things here because Halo belongs to 343. If the threads really bother you that much, then quit whining like and entitled child and leave. All this community does is bicker with each other. It's time to suck it up and move on. Destiny is what's popular right now and if you don't like it, maybe it's time for you to leave.

Implying there isn't an entire sub forum dedicated to Destiny?
-
I'm not implying anything. I'm just saying that despite the fact that there is a Destiny forum, Destiny is still, at it's core, a video game. And last time I checked, #Gaming encompasses all things gaming related.

Bearbeitet von Prophit: 7/22/2014 4:50:54 AMThe Destiny forum is redundant and useless. But it's not there as an option for Destiny fans. Whether they like it or not, know it or not, it's not their choice. It's been said before that the Destiny forum is there so that the Destiny talk is separated from the other videogame talk, which is what they did with Halo when they owned it. The only difference from then is that people(new and old, but mostly new) aren't following the guideline, and that forum staff isn't enforcing it as actively. Do you get it now? We're not as idiotic as you seem to think.
-
Either way, is it really that big a deal for people to have to point it out every single time? I mean sure maybe Destiny posts should stay in #Destiny, but that doesn't give anyone the right to be so rude to people who aren't as well informed of these regulations as they are. I'm just asking for a little more civility out of the community, that's all.

Bearbeitet von Prophit: 7/22/2014 5:23:21 AMThey should be well informed of the regulations.
-
So you're saying it's okay to rip on them for something they didn't know was regulation?
-
They're getting ripped on for something they didn't know was regulation because they didn't even bother with rules, I'm guessing. So... yes?
-
I see your point but let's be honest here; who goes on an Internet forum and actually looks into the rules and regulations? People are here to find people to play a game with people whom they can find friends in. Rules and regulations be damned. I just don't understand why it's so hard for people to overlook the fact that they may have put their thread in the wrong sub-forum. What are we, children?

Let me direct you to a metaphor from another user:
Picks the "retard" option ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
if I had a box for forks and another for assorted cutlery I would be annoyed to find forks in the second box

Good analogy. Believe me, I understand where you're coming from but this is just to big of a gray area for me to completely agree with you. I guess we'll just have to let Bungie decide.
if they ever come out and do their job, that is.
-
Now I see your point. From what I've seen, this community isn't exactly civil or patient. But the same thing over and over again does get old :/

Hm... That is a lot of words...

Am I whining? Read my thread.
I AM A GOD
-
No, I wasn't talking about you! Haha. I was just speaking in general about the people who were complaining about Destiny being posted in #Gaming.
-
Oh ok. My apology.
I AM A GOD
So I can't say destitard? What about desticle is that taken?
-
No you can say whatever you want.

Cool thanks
