My friend and I were playing a game called "You Rainbow Face" and he kicked me off of his couch onto the coffee table. My head started bleeding and I screamed, "My brain is going to leak out!" I eventually fainted from blood loss. We look back at it fondly.
If anyone gets the "Rainbow Face" reference you will be my new best friend
I've had almost no bad injuries. It's kind of scary because I'm totally due one. I was dropped on my head a few times as a baby, and I did something to my pinky toe because it doesn't move properly now, but that's it.

1 AntwortenI used to be in an abusive relationship. Every day would bring a new bruise. That stuff changes you.

2 AntwortenLike injuries? 1. Earliest one I remember was when I was ~4. I was running in the kitchen and my head caught the corner of an open drawer or cabinet. I remember my mom grabbing me and holding me over the bathtub as I watched my blood flowing down the drain. I don't remember what happened after that. 2. ~5 I nearly fell out of a second story window. My little sister cried and my mom came and pulled me in. 3. ~10 I was jumping on my bed and decided to land on the ground. I got a pair of scissors stuck in my foot. I went to the hospital, but I didn't get any shots as my mom cleaned my wound correctly. 4. 22 I injured my knee playing soccer. Tore my ACL. 5. 23 I slammed my car into a tree going 50mph. Left me shaken as -blam!- since 2 of the people I love the most were in that car, also the girl I liked. I think those are all my major ones.

I fell off a bolting horse at an event 3 and a half years ago. I then got back on and finished the day of competing. 2 first places, one during barrel racing, another during a show jumping course. Suffered in pain for the 2 hour drive home (stopping at maccas). Went to my partner-at-the-time's 17th birthday party. Stayed out til 3am doing crazy shit around town. Went to school for 2 weeks. PE was a nightmare and I tried my hardest to get out of it to no avail. Day before Easter long weekend, gets x-rays done. Still in pain. Half a week later is told to go to hospital an hour away because I had fractured my spine in 3 places and 2 vertibre had been crushed. [Picture is of me at the event about 2 hours after the accident had happened..]

7 Antworten2 broken bones. The first was caused by a fat kid crushing my foot on a teeter totter. The second was from a fat kid falling on my arm during a dodgeball game. -blam!- America.

Number 2: Since I am basically half-blind (it's complicated) I did a terrific stunt that someone with actual depth perception would never been able to pull off... While on a vacation in Austria, I decided to immidiately take a dive in a swimming pool that was near empty (yes, you all see it coming), that particular place in the swimming pool was about ankle deep. I don't know how, but my arms were next to me when I did the jump. I landed on my nose, and suddenly the pool started turning red around the poor idiotic induvidual in pain. So the first couple days of that vacation were spent in serious pain alongside a tempoary swimmingpool-phobia.

Was once stupid enough to make a ramp over a gap made from wooden planks, then jump it with my bicycle, do a backflip, falling from the bike. Then the bike flew free onto my head (in midair), causing a dent in my skull. I finally landed face first into the grass spread out and immobilized from the pain. Shortly after the bike fell on my arm, injuring it. I lie there for a few minutes, friends looking worrying at me. I regain strength. Stand up and see my friends' faces pale while they look at me bleeding heavily from my head. I was a sort of two face, half Normal face, half covered in blood. I will forever have a bald spot there...

When I was like 3 I slipped and fell near a swimming pool, cutting my head and then falling into the water. I still have a little bald patch from that day…

My kneecap has dislocated 3 times. Limits the stuff that i can do now.

Well. Yesterday I went swimming and screwed up muh knee. I moved it too fast and cracked. If I move it in a specific way, it'll hurt like a bitch. If I put pressure on it, it'll kill. The injury has something to do with cartilage in my kneecap. I haven't got it checked out by a doctor. I've been limping my ass everywhere. But hey. I've walked on a fractured foot for a day without treatment. I don't think this will stop me.

When I was about 7 me and my sister were doing this thing where she'd put her feet on my stomach and lauch me onto a matress. But she ended up launching me too hard and I hit my head on the shelf behind the matress and split the skin on the back of my head open, had to get stitches. There was red Kool-aid everywhere :C

This guy threw me into a wall when I was six, had to get my head stapled.

Bearbeitet von Dragonmourne: 7/13/2014 8:20:39 PMHead butted a guy in the nose during a fist fight at school. His bone gashed my right eyebrow horizontally so now I have about an inch long scar there. Took a few stitches to fix up. Also have an inch scar down my right hand across my pinky knuckle that I super glued back together (fist fighting again) after catching someone's braces. Both cases landed me in pretty hot water since my high school had a zero tolerance policy. I got to be on my local news, at least.

I was 3ish and I got a bungie cord stuck vertically in my forehead, between my eyes but closer to one of my eyebrows (I can't remember which one). I have a scar from it that's like an inch long.

Jumped head-first off a trampoline. Couple of stitches in my scalp. Still get headaches. Let me tell you, Safety nets: aren't.

2 AntwortenWhen I was about two or three years old, I was jumping in the living room couch when I fell down and hit my head on the edge of the TV table. The skin above my eye split and bled. We lived in a house way out in the forest at the time, so my mom called the healthcare advice phone line or whatever it's called, and they said that it wasn't major enough to go to the hospital, given the distance. So my mom shut it close with surgical tape. I still have a small scar on my right eyebrow.
