Note: This will be mostly an angry rant so if your one of those people who hate this anger about beta might as well leave now
Ok about a month ago I pre-ordered my Destiny game for Xbox one from GameStop just for the beta, at the time I was expecting the beta to last at least 2 weeks but no I was completely wrong.
So PS owners get the alpha right? That's unfair. PS owners beta is TWICE as long as xbots that is VERY unfair and when questioned about this shit Bungie just says "Oh we're releasing a game for Xbox" EVERY -blam!-ING TIME like wtf Bungie we don't want that shit we want a real reason not you just saying that you're releasing a game for us
Back to my pre-order so when I pre - ordered the game I thought I was getting the same deal as PS owners I had no clue of the Playstation a whole -blam!-ing year exclusives really Bungie 1 -blam!-ing year exclusives NEVER had I heard of such an extreme timeline by then you would have revealed your next -blam!-ing Destiny game.
Honestly Bungie you just completely gave the whole xbox community a giant bitch slap in the face and don't know why Xbox still regarded this game at E3 but honestly Bungie I feel betrayed this is unfair.
Bungie used to be my favorite franchise I played EVERY single one of the halo games, spread it around told my friends to buy those games but no Bungie you've turned, you fired Marty 'o' Donnel all because he was asking for his vacation you fired one of the greatest members of your team because of him asking for -blam!-ing day offs honestly you aren't the Bungie that Microsoft supported all the way, you're not your the Bungie that decided to give your loyal fan base that all loved your games and went to the ungrateful shitlords who said your halo games were complete shit all because they wanted to criticize xbox great job Bungie thats a -blam!-ing genius thing to do.
Also PS owners I don't want to hear that us Xbox owners are "lucky" that it's not a PS exclusive ok you really think that would ever be a possibility with its $500 million dollar budget yeah like they're totally gonna be able to sale 16 million copies just on PS who again said halo franchise was shit
Back to my pre-order when I was pre -ordering I wanted to pre order a collectors edition today on Bungie day I saw the collectors edition and I also saw HOW -blam!-ING BUNGIE JUST GAVE US ANOTHER BITCHSLAP they are giving PS expansion pack 1 and 2 and guess when we get it that's right A WHOLE -blam!-ING YEAR after them
P.S. Anyone know how to cancel a pre-order from GameStop? and account creation is 6/7/14 not 7/7/14 read it right

This issue has gone on far longer than necessary. Bungie makes the game. Activision does the deals. Sony paid more for exclusive rights. End of story.

Man... I couldn't read the whole thing. But from what I gathered you shouldn't be mad at bungie. It's the whole political structure of the competition between consoles. Exclusives hurt everyone. We shouldn't hate on playstation or xbox users, or game developers. It's the console companies that need to realize there's enough to go around. Let's get some cross platform gameplay, eliminate exclusives, and focus on a gamer friendly utopia. [spoiler]except keep PC out of it.. Those guys have it all, already. No hate, just fact. Computers will always be more powerful than consoles, relax[/spoiler]

It's just good marketing towards an entirely new community. As an Xbox owner, my incentive is just knowing that Bungie is really freakin' good at making games, so a lot of us Halo fans were already onboard! (Especially after the beta) The timed exclusives are pretty cool, and are something PS users can use to really enhance their initial Destiny experience. But a year or two down the road when our Guardians are all decked out in epic gear we've earned in our travels, I think the exclusivity butthurt will be a thing of the past (I hope).

Calm down lol. Bungie is a business, they're getting paid for the timed exclusives. It isn't Playstation's fault that Microsoft didn't treat bungie right (they weren't getting rich like other gaming companies). The reason you are complaining to this level is because you really like the game and find yourself being selfish to want more exclusives on your platform. It's how it works, business. You have Halo and CoD along with other exclusive games. Every gamer suffers. Just deal with it.

You're an idiot. Xbox users don't have to wait for a year for the expansion content. It's the playstation timed exclusive stuff they have to wait for which is some gear some missions and some multiplayer maps.

Xbox gets 10+ years of exclusive Halo and tells PS users: "Too bad". Xbox gets 4 days less of beta and doesn't have a timed exclusive and everyone flips their shit. Calm down. It's not the end of the world.

Microsoft treated them as property, practically forcing them to focus on projects other than destiny. Im not saying Bungie is doing this to get back at Microsoft, but Sony saw this relationship issue as an opportunity. They sat down with Activision, and struck a deal. They did what Microsoft wouldnt: Fund their art, and let them independently create whatever they want. I stuck with Microsoft for the controller, the community, and the next Halo. And honestly, this post is an embarassment to the xbox community. In no way, is any of this angry outburst constructive. Getting rid of the exclusive content? Come on, its going to happen and their isnt anything you can do about it. Be thankful Destiny was funded well, and will continue to be funded well.

Wow so many salty man tears, I think you need to become aware of a few crucial details. 1.) Bungie chafed under Microsoft for years, they were forced to make games beyond the original trilogy they had dreamed up. 2.) Bungie has mentioned wanting to work on multiple platforms for years. 3.) they owe you nothing. Their games are payment enough anything else is a icing on the cake. 4.) bungie and activision gave Microsoft the same offer they gave Sony and guess what they [b]didnt[/b] take it. You're lucky Sony didn't buy timed exclusivity of the whole game like Microsoft did for Tomb Raider. 2. Sony only bought timed exclusives, so you'll be able to play them by fall 2015 3. It's your fault you chose the Xbox One 4. Bungie told you Playstation had timed exclusives right before the consoles came out giving you time to pick up a PS4 if you want the timed exclusives... 5. You screwed yourself over! I watched E3 2013, and learned I would be a PS4 owner, because the company who made my favorite game at that time (Halo 3) would be making Destiny and have exclusives on the playstation side, and I like all the PS exclusives plus the free to plays Don't bitch because you bought an entertainment box lol Bitch because you missed out on a gaming machine

Most of the stuff you are ranting about was known for like a year. People need to get over the alpha/beta stuff. It's a privilege not our right to get in those test phases. Most games don't even have public alpha tests.

Can anyone tell me when ps is getting legends like xbox is it like a year or something bc it was already all of fifa 14 and now fifa 15 ps won't get them..oh wait...it's not a timed exclusive...I'm paying the same price and just not getting the same stuff?
