Will the Titan's "Void Shield" stop Supers like "golden gun" or "nova bomb" in PVP?

Yeah its called "the badass shield of badassitude"
It's a borderlands 2 reference
-
Yes it should stop all projectiles but it isn't confirmed if enemies can walk, through the shield yet.
-
Probably but you better be fast when you use it

I'm going to assume so, according to the description of the void shield it's impenetrable. So I'm guessing that applies to Nova bombs and golden gun shots. However firsts of havoc and blade dancer super.. Not to sure since those are melee attacks.

3 AntwortenI sure hope - if it won't stop them - then it's just a "Regular" not a "Super.. Dr. Evil - Team Dennys

I would assume so. It's all about balance, right? And the game clips I've seen, the shield doesn't last long. What would be the point of using your super and timing it correctly against a nova bomb if it doesn't stop it? You used your super, so did he. I should hope they cancel out.

This question was inches away from being answered via this video at 5:37. If you notice on the right hand side a Titan deploys his Shield, and moments after the Warlock launches a Nova Bomb at him. If the camera would have stopped panning for a split second, we would have seen whether the Shield stopped the Nova Bomb or not. My guess is that the Shield does stop supers, but has health associated with it meaning that supers greatly damage the Shield.

2 AntwortenBungie has stated that it is unbreakable. So unless that has changed, it will stop those supers. But if it works like the bubble shield from Halo 3, then you can walk right through it, so it will do absolutely nothing to stop a hunter using arc blade, a warlock using radiance, or a titan using fist of havoc.

Well as cool as it would be to completly protect from anything i feel like it's be to OP. Maybe it'll phase to go away when supers are used against it.
-
Good post and I don't mean that sarcastically. I never bothered to think about the way it would be implemented in PvP but if it does turn out the way you've written it there, then I expect the Titan to take a very useful turn. Protecting capture zones while capturing to negate nova bombs, blocking off small hallways and corridors from golden gun... That would be pretty damn nice.

I hope so
-
Probably

I really hope you and your team can fire out of it when it's deployed, unlike the bubble shield from halo. Maybe to keep it from being too op, you require a high level skill point to have it like that, and maybe it decreases the time before it's gone
-
Yes, but it will lose its power right after. We saw this in one of the ViDocs. (forgot which one)
-
1 AntwortenYes, I believe it does, kinda the point. haha
-
I hope so or else it really won't be very exciting.
