Calling all lifters. I've been going to the gym for two years now and I love the progress I've made. Granted it has been on and off because of school, but I'm up to 5 reps with two plates, which is actually very good progress from where I started.
So what do you do in the gym or wherever you work out? What are you goals? What supplements do you take? Let us discuss fitness.

I won't say I'm dedicated to the extreme, but I've been taking to going to the gym with a friend of mine for the past few months. Hell, I'm typing this up on the Bungie app while there now.

I don't go to the gym, I work out at home. A good cycle of Pushups, Situps, Pullups, and MMA training are good for you. I don't have the best diet, so I take protein supplements on days when I don't eat meat or a lot of protein in general.

Been off it for a few weeks because the gym's been closed, should be open again in a few days. I'm back home from uni for the summer and living in a sleepy, dull village. My life for the next 3 months will just be work and the gym.

Running 5ks 4 times a week, 15 to 20 minute intense cardio and core workouts 2 times a week and the rest of the days I switch between heavy weights for arms, back and shoulders, abs, and legs

I haven't been to the gym much lately since school ended, busy with work plus I did my lifting at school mostly.

1 AntwortenI do a good amount of lifting and conditioning for football. I'm now up to 180 lbs benching and 290 on squats.

I just started dieting. I mainly do body weight exercises, once I get as skinny as I want to be I will start bulking.

I've been lifting off and on for the past 6 years. I managed to pack on 25lbs of muscle during one summer (quite proud of myself) when I got REALLY hardcore about it and went to the gym twice a day, 7 days a week (was doing research at school, kinda bored). Now I'm lucky if I get 4 days, so I gain slower. I like to work with free weights, dumbbells mainly (also I no longer have easy access to a bar and plates). I hate cardio... sooooo much... I just get bored doing it.

6 AntwortenI'm into fitness, but not lifting. I don't necessarily need to be strong (on college soccer team), but I have to stay fit. So I do push-ups and sit-ups every night, and after this week when my summer class ends, I'll be running everyday. And going to the soccer fields to play every other day

5 Antworten:D I'm trying! Every night I go for a 45 minute walk, and I've been eating more fruit! Plus I only drink either coffee or water and I've been taking cayenne pills to help my metabolism some. I'm down about five pounds, and this is my third week.

I sometimes lift, and maybe a few crunches here or there, but I'm not one of those 'only eating veggies and meat and always at the gym' kind of fitness fanatics.
