I just got done watching the PS4 press conference. Sony gets an extra map, an extra strike, extra armor, early beta, and MORE! Why... That's just so UNFAIR to microsoft. And I don't care if you call me a cry baby, cuz frankly it's the truth!

4 AntwortenLet me put this into a metaphor for you: Say there are only 3 types of people in the world, and they each wear a different color shirt. One type wears green, the other wears blue, and the last type wears both (just follow along, the last one doesn't actually matter too much, as they get the best of both worlds, they just spend a LOT of extra money on both styles of shirts). Now, it doesn't really matter who's who, as it's just a clothing choice. However, say you work for a restaurant that started out selling food to everyone, but the restaurant got bought out by a company that said "You will no longer sell food to those who wear blue shirts, only to those who wear green." After the transition, you restaurant comes up with a recipe that ends up being one of the best ever created. Everyone wearing green shirts is going to be ecstatic, while those wearing blue won't be able to enjoy it. Fast forward a 10 years, and your restaurant new recipe has been better than anyone could have ever dreamed about. Now, your managers find a way to get control back in their own restaurant, and leave the former owners behind. They still have the makings of that original recipe, but they want to make it better and different, something new. Remember, this is a business after all, and you know those who have eaten with you before (green shirts) will continue to eat at the restaurant. But how do you draw in the blue shirt wearers who have never had a taste of the food? You offer free samples. Put a big sign out front that says "Welcome all those who wear blue! Come try our new menu, free sample included, and you can even try our new recipe first!" It's a good business tactic. Bring in new customers and offer them an incentive. Those who have eaten at your restaurant before know how good the food can be, and most will stick with it. Others may switch shirts just to get a taste of the new food first, but in the end, everyone makes out the same. TL:DR Moral of the story: Dude, chill. We all get it in the end.
I'm going to copy and paste this into every post I see about people complaining that PS is getting shit earlier than XB. I've been a 'green shirt' guy much more so than a 'blue shirt', and i'm actually happy Bungie is welcoming their potential new fan base with open arms, as do I.

They are only timed
-
No there is an Xbox exclusive! It is a gun but that is it...
-
You'll get it in the end. Sony users have put up with this in others games in the past so suck it up and wait patiently.

1 AntwortenCry baby.

2 AntwortenWe don't know yet if it is a time exclusive or not so HOLD ON TO HOPE
-
It isn't the truth, it's marketing. Playstation gamers haven't experienced bungie, so bungie offers exclusives to get them interested. Stop whining.

I'm a play station user and I think it's stupid too. I have friends that have xboxs. It's just a scam for play station to make more money. It's like oh you payed 60 bucks for a game oh sorry you don't get the complete version get play stations.

Doesn't make a Playstation a better console if theres a little bit more content. No exclusives make a console better (except if a whole game is exclusive ). Destiny's world is giant. I dont care about this little bit of content. Just let us all enjoy the game. Play and not make a stupid console war.
and maybe its like the red sparrow. Just time exclusive. Game developers did this with nuketown 2023 and free fall also. Just wait until we get more details
in 4 months, you won't even remember.
-
Well at least you admit you're a cry baby
-
2 AntwortenSo? They said that there was going to be exclusive content a year ago.

8 AntwortenThis is hilarious to me: it just goes to show you that Sony has the more mature fan base. All of you MS brats are literally stomping and wailing because you were too arrogant to make the right choice. Last E3 Bungie said they were supporting Playstion. Instead of listening, you all went and bough the Xbone VCR so you could watch cable tv while your console watched u. I assume you all should be happy with your purchase. You had halo for more than 10 years!! Sony fans didn't make nearly the hissy fit that all these 13 year old Kinect kiddies are making. Either get a PS4 and stay loyal to Bungie, or man up and be proud of your Microsoft console. Buncha gawdam slack jaw'd who no around here.

1 AntwortenI don't care that much, I mean, at least we're GETTING it for the xbox. Also, the only thing I'm disappointed about is the armor that ps4 gets, but usually armor that you get through events like that is either weak or ugly...

Stop crying

It's funny; ten years ago I was a venomously enthusiastic Xbox fanboy. I wonder how I would have taken this all if I were that age now. Not very well, judging by some of you lot.

It's all timed, man.

2 AntwortenOr realize that neither the 'Alpha' or 'Beta' are not going to be actual Alpha or Beta test, and instead will be little more than glorified Demos. Even if you guys find a crapload of new issues, there's not much time at all until release to fix those issues. then they have to test the fixes to make sure that the fix didn't introduce a new issue. No, all the tasks required of a Beta have already been well taken care of. We are just going to be getting a glorified demo, so get it for the system of your choice. Because it really doesn't matter anyway.
