T4R. For the past week or so, I haven't been able to connect to Xbox Live with my Xbox One. Each Time I connect, I only get's as far as "checking connection" and then it suddenly derps out and says "Can't connect. Your network is not set up." despite me having set it up before hand. Is this just because of my wifi or is this a fixable problem?

Check your multiplayer connection. Not just live connection. If it truly isn't working it will give you an error code as well as a port to forward on your router. Then you'll need to look up your routers operator's manual, log in to your router, and follow the port forwarding/triggering instructions from the manual. Hope this helps.

3 AntwortenI'd try a few things. 1) Hard reset your x1. (Hold power button down for a few seconds till box turns off) 2) reset your router (unplug router, wait 30 sec replug in router. 3) Erase router settings from your xbox and re-attempt a network setup.

1 AntwortenIs your network hidden? If so, you either need to plug it in with an Ethernet cable (which is what I think all gamers should do, anyway) or put in the name of your network.

1 AntwortenI had this problem. After a few days of unsuccess, I think (it was a while ago now) I had to disconnect from wifi and set up again network on xbox live again (care use Auto), you also have to do the other bit (the second bit I think) again be sure to use auto set up. I just went through the whole process of setting everything up again and it worked. It was the very last set up bit that fixed it. Do the whole process. Sorry this is a bit vague it was a while ago.
