Xbox and Playstation combined?
How do you think everyone would get along if Xbox and Playstation players all came together to play a console made by Microsoft and Sony. (let's just say xbox and Playstation fused) No exclusives to any console just fairness on both sides and a combined community. Give your answers and say why.

Well, there would be no more console competition (Nintendo is in thier own little world). Without competition, they could skyrocket rocket prices for consoles and accessories. Smart people would move to PC, while the minority stay behind on consoles. Without a large audience to compensate both companies, their market would crash. PC gaming will rain dominant as Nintendo and Oyua pick up the scraps.

Only a few people actually read the question carefully, I specifically said what would the two communities be like combined, not how prices would skyrocket or how it would be a monopoly. It's a [i]What if[/i] question.

That would never happen. People talk about competition but I know that both Sony and Microsoft are both owned by the hidden hand. Have you ever wondered why there are so many FPS games around? They are training the soldiers of tomorrow to wipe out the superpowers of today so they can control more of the worlds' funds. Sips cup of coffee and continues to slaughter naughty Germans.

I would through all the money I will ever make in my life to invest in that product. It would stop the annoying console wars and I don't have to be ridiculed for having an xbox my family won in vegas!!! Seriously, it wasn't my choice and I don't regret it at all!!! 1 AntwortenThat is literally the stupidest idea that EITHER company could do for 2 reasons- 1. Monopoly- The two companies merging creates a monopoly, allowing them to jack the prices WAY the -blam!- up to the point that you'd literally have to pay 1k or more for the console alone. then the U.S. government would intervene and force the new company to either completely disassemble and be sold to highest bidder (which is also bad) or split back up. 2. if the above didn't happen, there'd be literally no reason to buy a console over a P.C, therefore making consoles crash HARD and the console division of the new company and their IPs be completely disbanded and sold. them merging is a lose-lose situation for both sides of the transaction.
