1 AntwortenI'm just glad that there are more game developers that are choosing to do things that aren't more God-awful horror games that have no plot. I'm not sure how much time/processing power you have to make all of this stuff, but off the top of my head I can think of, -A racetrack set up on the top of skyscrapers connected by rickety wood/metal bridges -A car that has the front of an indy 500 racecar but the back of a hippie bus -A track that starts of in a laboratory but soon goes into a series of teleporters that warp the player to places like the surface of an asteroid and the polar ice caps before returning to the lab -A limousine car that has an eccentric smily face decal on the hood -A track that's inside of an art museum which has paintings that are screenshots of the rest of the game

2 AntwortenDon't use Unreal. Its controls suck, the engine itself isn't user friendly to any extent, and if you choose to distribute your game it will be a pain in the ass. I would go with either Unity (it accepts most programming languages I think, as well as being user friendly) or CryEngine (the most beautiful engine out there in my opinion, lots of people you can recruit to work on a project through its website). As far as ideas for your racing game, will it be like Forza or Mario Kart?
