I am writing a short story
It is set on the American frontier/the gold rush. Here is what I got for my plot. The story starts with our narrator Bootleg Johnson delivering his backstory and his involvement with Dirty Dan. The two of them met in Dahlonega Georgia during the first gold rush, and decided to go west to Calfifornia during 1850 (how they got the names has not been determined). So they go there and start panning and when they discover most of the gold is gone, they head off into the hills and are killed by Native Americans. Would you kindly help me fill in the names, locations, and plot that I am missing?
