Most other presidents/CEOs would just flat out fire employees, but no, Mr. Iwata is reducing his own salary by 50%, and the other Nintendo execs are taking a wage cut from anywhere from 20% - 30%. Iwata did this because of the poor WiiU sales and so that no employees would have to be fired. I have just gained even more respect for Nintendo and Iwata. I really want to see them get out of this slump, and hopefully they will around the time that the new Mario Kart and Smash bros. games come out.
