Played through it for about an hour so far. IT IS SO GOOD, I love it! I just wish it had its own unique multiplayer, instead of riding on the halo 3 one. Don't spoil it for me, but what's your favorite part of this game?
I love the different gameplay dynamics. The VISR is cool, and I love how you don't feel invincible, unlike when playing as MC. The weapons are better too.

15 Antworten
I love the different gameplay dynamics.
There's nothing different about the game from Halo 3.
The VISR is cool
The game is still dark as a buffalo's anus when the VISR is on.
and I love how you don't feel invincible, unlike when playing as MC. 6 AntwortenFirefight with Johnson as my character.
-
10 AntwortenBuck dies, Romeo gets cut open and the Dutch kills himself because he's family lived in Mombasa when they glassed it.
-
2 AntwortenIMO it has the best and hardest campaign next to CE.
-
2 AntwortenSame weapons as H3
-
Firefight or the open exploration

I love the overall feel of the campaign. You're one ODST in this huge and dark megacity. You feel alone. Like a true lone wolf. The music complements it as well
-
Would have been perfect with rain.

You finish it? It was good but short as -blam!-
-
The last levels kinda fun but the story doesn't make to much sense beat it on legendary.
-
It's an amazing game. If you pair it with the multiplayer disk, it's my favorite Halo.

I love the soundtrack and firefight in ODST. :-)

I love that game.

Bearbeitet von Kafuu Chino: 12/26/2013 11:58:31 AMI just love wandering down the alleyways searching for audio logs, with the rain coming down and the jazz playing. Really relaxing, it's such a fantastic atmosphere.
The VISR is cool.
Which hardly does anything besides highlight friendlies and enemies. The flashlight is more useful than this.
I love how you don't feel invincible, unlike when playing as MC.
Lol. You are still the Master Chief. You are still able to use the same weapons and your stamina acts like your energy shields. You still have the invincible feel to you.
The weapons are better too.
How? The game still has the same weapons as Halo 3 and the automag is a shitty replacement for the BR.

1 AntwortenI wish it was more realistic. I didn't feel like a human, I felt like a needed Master Chief. The ODSTs can still jump five feet high carrying a machine gun turret even.
-
Awesome I hope you continue to enjoy it. It was my favorite of all the campaigns.

Bearbeitet von Rosemints: 12/26/2013 7:50:17 PMI like how so far people just seem to bash you for liking a good game. Negativity is a disease people, don't spread it. Be happy and have fun!

3 AntwortenHalo 2 and ODST are probably tied for my favorite Halo games. Anyways, I loved the intro "mission" ('ya know, the entire cutscene) because it referenced Halo 2 with slipspace jump, the In Amber Clad, whatever else.

Bearbeitet von Faliz18: 12/26/2013 4:02:22 PMI loved the ending mission on the highway.
When there's the city being attacked by scarabs and you can see it being glassed
That really is Bungie's gem game. A little offshoot game became their best game to date. Just shows how much bungie can do when the bend the molds.
-
Dare has a dick, Buck gets his legs cut, Romeo gets crashed by a Scarab, Dutchy sacrifices himself for the others, Mickey gets eaten by the brutes and the Rookie well... lets just say that he'd rather have died when he crashed than experiencing all this shit.

The NMPD HQ mission is boss, and I love the Kikowani station part! But my favourite of all is definitely Mombasa Streets. Nothing beats sneaking past enemies in the dark while Marty's score plays in the background, its beautiful.

Best Halo campaign! That's a solid gift OP
