A grey object is seen far away drifting in space and a Pelican flies from the top of screen towards the object. Radio crackling noises can be heard followed by a voice. [/i] "Black Falcon Zero-Nine-Zero to Infinity, we have visual contact on the anomoly. Ship appears to be UNSC in origin. Waiting for go on boarding procedures." "Infinity to Black Falcon you are cleared to board. Initiate Cole Protocol and recover any assets." "Roger, ETA boarding T minus 4." [i]The camera switched to the cockpit of the Pelican, looking out ontu the rapidly approaching object with a pilot in Aviator armor busy at the controls. The Pelican flew by the engines of the ship and into the bay between the engines. Black Falcon 090 turned on the spotlight and scanned the dusty, empty bay. The camera rotates around the landing pelican and stops to show five figures run down the ramp in tight formation. A pedestal with a dimming light begins to flicker as the five figure aproach it and the Pelican leaves behind them. The screen begins to fade black and color begin to fill it and show Chief in cryotube, the glass long frozen in space. A console in front of the cryotube with the text, "Wake up Chief." And steam hissed out of the cryotube, Chief suddenly looks up and jumps out of the tube. The game then switch from cinematic to gameplay mode. [music ends][/i] Chief:"Cortana? Cortana come in!" [i]There was no response, he figured there was a malfunction and proceeded to the bay's console where he put her in. The journey to the bay is a tutorial mission. Though the mission, the player can hear distance bangs. Upon reaching a set of doors, a cutscene will start. The camera is on the ground focusing on the door as the Chief walks past the camera. Suddenly sparks start emitting from door and the Chief raises his weapon. The door explodes and dust fills the room as five figures aim their weapons at Chief, dust preventing a clear picture of either parties. When the dust clears, one of the Mjolnir clad soldiers lower his weapon and motion for others to do the same.[/i] "Chief, is that you?" [i]The other figures gasped and lowered their weapons, some whispered dialogue such as "Does he know?", "Shut up." And the leading soldier held up a fist to silence them. Chief looks around and asks the question that was bugging him since his awakening.[/i] "Where is Cortana?" [i]The spartan look at the others and nodded, one of them brought a chip forward and handed it to Chief. The Chief let out a sigh and suddenly snap to attention, chiding himself for showing such emotion and quickly put the chip back in.[/i] "I thought you were gonna stood me up for a second there." [i]Chief responded briefly and was about to ask a briefing but was interrupted by the spartan.[/i] "I'm Carlo, this is Gabriel, Tedra, Paul, and Anthony.
