#Locked Proposal
I was wondering, what if moderators or group admins wanted to lock a thread like the old days of bungie.net. With bungie.next, a simply "#locked" tag could be applied and the thread would be moved. Also, when the thread is moved to #locked it will automatically get locked. What do you think about this feature or do you think it's even worth the effort?

Assuming that admins/mods can then search the #Locked topic for whatever need then yes, yes, yes. That way if I was say a group admin, someone did something, locked it, and then a few months later did something again, I can see their past "offenses," and take appropriate measures.

1 AntwortenI like it, though only if the moderators could do it. People locking their own threads... I can see that leading to trouble. Other than that though, seems like a great way to implement locking into this forum structure.

Once tagged that way, the thread becomes read only and the tag cannot be removed. A one-way ticket to the archives. It would also show who changed/edited the tag (for followup or queries). Accessible to the OP, Admins (both Group-Admins and Site-Admins) and [i]perhaps even[/i] the Ninja. With the Site Admins being the only ones who could then remove the tag? Interesting idea.
