Destiny the Hidden Truth.(Xbox Bungie Fans Second Class)
For years now i have been a respected member here. Rarely if you read my posts do i even say what i am about to say. The X-box side of Bungie is being ignored. Bungie refuses to even speak the name of Microsoft.
*Crickets* Well yes i thought so. So now lets say that a fan and consumer base help build an empire. So great were they there wizards could make magic happen. Yet they were cut off from the world of Average Joe.
Not every one would fallow the Wizards to there new masters having put roots down or were simply unable to for finial or other reasons.. Hidden partners lurking behind making allot of deals for them. So they ended up being right where they were before.
The last masters were not great harsh but allot of expectation for the new one as one must establish ones self again. Those who fallowed were ignored in the other empire. Sadly they were bound by law to never utter that name again. Wizards worked in there shop.
Quiet discontent has build as the beloved wizards of old lost a long time member his library was great as were his deeds. People in the other empire seen the great works but could not touch them see them nor even visit the great wizards.
So with a smile the Wizards opened there vault showed a glimpse yet told the former empire " You will have to pay full price we have a deal with our new empire." So the people who helped them were simply second class now as the wizards catered to the new empire for riches and prestige.
Yet those in the other empire were confused or angered. That would pass in time like all things. Yet the presence was missed. As if it were all a dream. Nothing was real. No Fun, No pleasure as the new wonder they were making was more for one empire over another.
The truth can be hard. What is worse this was no story it is happening as we speak. All Bungie is doing is hurting those who do care and want to play the game. Yet no hate, No anger nothing but silence.

1 AntwortenIn Summary: Bungie has given up on Xbox and don't care about its old fans. In Reality: Bungie has been given the opportunity to make an awesome game for the two major consoles. Bungie has only made games for PC and Xbox in the past, now that they have a whole new market filled with millions of players, it only makes sense to pander to them. You have to look at it from a business stand point; millions of possible players means millions of possible dollars. The only way Bungie would be able to forget about Xbox fans is if Halo was never made. Besides, whats wrong with Bungie focusing on a newer demographic, we helped make Bungie what it is today and doesn't it seem selfish if we are not willing to share a company with other gamers (even though we don't own said company). In the end the only difference is what console you play on, the controls and hardware are nearly the same, just with a different logo and the amount of games you can play.

8 AntwortenWhy are all Xbox players getting so pissed and depressed over a week of missed beta and timed exclusive DLC? I mean c'mon people, it's not like PlayStation gets a better game, we all in the end will have the same basic experience.

Just coasting for now till we land or we hit something. If Destiny X-box side were a plane it would have stalled out at 30,000 feet and is slowly descending. Passengers are scared. Frantic. Pilots seem to have forgotten them ? Are they even flying the plane any more ? Look down see some water with Jungle. Updrafts keep the plane in the air for now. Then another plane flys past not even to help just keeps going. Yep just put head between legs. seems people are freaking out others not accepting the reality of the situation. its a mad house. B.Net is those passengers. Well lets hope we land safe or we can see whats going on in the Cockpit nothing from the Captain who is eerily silent on this matter. oh its not that bad guys or gals sure we lost the engines are coasting for now. Worst part is did that plane even call to see if they were in Distress ? Or even call it in ? Lets list the facts here. First i have not even seen it for X-box or what it looks like. Second Bungies disrespect to those who have X-box in order to sell a PS is blatant. Third Bungie seems to not mind taking away from those in the beta simply due to having a different console to give to the other in order to sell there game. Fourth Bungie excitement is fading on the other side as Sony is trying to win the Battle of consoles. Fifth No one cares as people say this is the best it can get. Sixth Bungie keeps secrets from us so expect more of the same. Seventh Why are we buying Destiny again ? Right to sell Play Stations. Apparently fun not included. Let down expected. So Bungie will not get my money unless i see some sort of footage of X-box ect. I am not asking for content ect. Right now its a myth. I do not pay for myths. So no game no pay.

3 AntwortenI was like you I thought they had betrayed us completely and then I realized that this move had little to do with bungie but more to do with activision selling this exclusive to Sony either before Microsoft or Microsoft just not giving a shit about the beta or these stupid exclusives that had started so much hate on the forums so please stop with these threads.

I had thought bungie was more then that an idea one of where the Community has a shared experience. Yet many of you show ignorance. You show contempt. No one is asking for a DLC but really we cannot have two weeks of Beta also ? Look around find me an instance Bungie has mentioned X-box lately officially ? Mock what you do not understand. "Its only a week" Right so what else are they not telling us ? Must be hard to sell PS if they are now trying to give PS players an extra Beta week early i might add. We are just consumers to be tapped. get used to it. Bungie left there ethics in the closet. Pro Tip: Bungie is a Business and like a Business there goal is to make a product and make money.

Is it true that the Halo franchise was exclusive to the Xbox family of systems (thus the sense that the Xbox fanbase "built" what Bungie is now) due to an exclusivity contract with Microsoft? 2. Shouldn't everyone's disappointment rest with the publishers, the individuals who are tasked with making these kinds of decisions?
