Inspiration Station! (Smiggy needs it)
I ride the bus everyday and use that time to draw
Problem is I draw the same things all the time.
My idea jar has run empty
So I'm up for suggestions
Whether on how to become inspired, what to draw, or how you personally become inspired.

When I'm in the mood to draw, and can't think of WHAT to draw... I draw a shark doing something silly, because, sharks. /me shrugs.

10 Antworten*ignores Smi* Jk You should draw a dragon. But no ordinary dragon. This is a dragon that is in this story I have been occasionally brainstorming on for a while. It is semi-omnipotent/all knowing and is a guide for my main character. It has a very collective personality, shows little emotion and humanity's basic morals and such have no affect to it which lets it guide my hero through his problems very easily. It is fairly large and is very advanced in its muscular physique in order to balance with and represent it's very advanced intelligence.

Expose yourself to more art and new artists. And by that I mean go to art shows, galleries, pick up a Juxtapose or Hi-Fructose magazine or ten and just try to get involved in your local art scene. When you see new and innovative ideas and techniques it's hard to not be inspired.
