Death in Destiny.
Hey guys,
I'm curious as to what will happen when you die. The way I see it there are only a few options that can happen.
1. Respawn with all your inventory, weapons etc. in the same region you died.
2. Respawn in the same region you died and lose some if not all of your equipment. You may go to where you died and pick it up.
3. The same as the other two options however the mission ends and you start where you took the quest.
4. The same again but you'll spawn at the last checkpoint with whatever you had then.
That's my thoughts on the matter, what are yours?
Personally I hope that it's the 4th option.

Personally I would quite like a hardcore mode with only one life and if you die that's it. (It would of course be optional) but I'm just a dark souls/xcom junkie so the thought of permadeath always keeps me on edge and if I'm perfectly honest makes a game funner/more rewarding for me at least.

2 AntwortenI like option 2. It adds to the skill factor that dying has meaningful consequences. If there is a custom weapon? That should stay, how to make that happen is not up to me. I also feel the weapons you did drop should be up for grabs. Have a friend pick them up, or keep them safe for when you return. Your thoughts on my thoughts?
