I used to check IGN everyday, but have come to the realization there are much better websites out there for gaming news.
So what's your favorite?

Bungie.net forums provide me with everything I need.

All of them.

Bearbeitet von nao: 10/28/2013 6:43:11 PMI don't think I have a favorite, but I use: Giantbomb, Rev3 on youtube, neogaf, Game Informer, VG247, Edge, etc. I'll go to IGN, Gamespot, or Destructoid occasionally. Usually for a specific article. Roosterteeth's little gaming news segment is kinda useful as well.

IGN I feel like I kind of know the people there. I've spoken (well interacted) to a few of the writers and ex-employed over twitter, youtube, reddit, and google plus. I watch the most of my trailers via their youtube channel and listen to most of their podcasts. I get most of my head likes via reddit then pop to IGN to read the story then go back to reddit and read the comments.

4 Antworten/v/ Say what you want about 4Chan, at least you can have decent conversations about vidya. (Unlike here...)

I like Polygon's features and reviews. They don't seem to editorialize news that much, which is also nice.

I like Gametrailers a lot. I tend to agree with their opinions more than the other websites.

There's only four developers that I like, two that I seriously follow. If I want gaming news, I go to the developer site. For gaming news "in general", I usually hit GameInformer, then follow up by reading the original sourced material myself. if the source has a quoted source, etc., then I follow the chain to verify credibility/truthfulness of the info. Mass media has become too sensationalized/polarized to believe without fact checking.

Whatever is linked and is somewhat credible I mean if its something that's probably farfetched I won't believe it

Machinima or here
