So I'm not getting the Xbox one even though I've been with Xbox since the original. I bought a 360 because of Halo 3 but with all the extra costs of the Xbone Halo 5 isn't a big enough reason to stay. Also in light of recent events I have to buy another 360 because well Microsoft suck, it broke after I came back from the GTA V midnight release. It has lead me to think that the Xbone will probably be similar and have the same faults as the 360.
What about you, are you converting from 360 to PS4?

I'm switching from 360 to PS4, I got a little sick of Microsoft's policies and services. Xbox Live might be better than PSN, but the games that I play online ie Battlefield all run on dedicated servers so it won't make much of a difference. It will also be nice to play with my irl friends who are all PS3-PS4 people, especially considering I might be moving away from them soon.

3 AntwortenI'll be getting an xbox one. I could get it at launch or I could get it when the next Halo comes out, not sure yet, but I will be buying it. -Partnership with the NFL -Better Controller -Halo -Better entertainment features
-
4 AntwortenThe Xbone is practically useless and has gimmicks out the ass, The PS4 is basically a PS3 with better hardware. You can't win this generation.

1 AntwortenI'm going back to Playstation (and my roots) with the PS4. It's a subjective decision. However, for me, none of features/exclusives offered by MS are enough to sway me. They are all lost on me. - Kinect/voice/gestures/skype would go unused. - I don't watch sports or play fantasy leagues. - I don't have cable. I watch TV on the internet. - 343i and the current state of halo community left a bad taste in my mouth. - Titanfall will ultimately have the same player base and audience as COD. - Sony finally adopted party chat. - Sony finally fixed their controller. - My friends are buying PS4s or both. So yeah....

360 to PC.

I am very surprised that so many are switching to playstation, well.... not really but on this forum i am. For a forum that used to be an Xbox only, the number who chose Ps4 is amazing. Just think how many people in the world are switching to playstation. Even before this gen even starts, its pretty obvious that the Ps4 will be the common house hold gaming console until the next gens just like the 360 was this gen.

Xbox360 to PS4

Will get a PS4 this time round. Missed having a Playstation this gen, and the exclusives were better than Halo and Gears of War that the 360 got. Looking forward to catching up on some decent JRPGs this gen. Only had Lost Odyssea on 360, but nothing else really.

22 AntwortenDamn, lots of MS faithfuls here. They lost my trust after the crap they were pulling earlier this year. Even had to pull a 180 and COMPLETELY change their original strategy. Sony on the the other hand, has been consistent. No 180s, have kept true to the promises they made in February(so far).

28 AntwortenI'm getting PS4 because I want a GAMING console
-
I'm sticking with Bungie, not Halo. I had a 360 just for Halo 3 but now I don't have any reason to get an Xbone, so I'm getting a PS4.
-
Every time I see something about the new Smash Bros. I wonder if i should get a Wii U...
-
Yeah, I'll keep my 360 for as long as it will survive and buy a PS4 for the new games since the majority of games I want are multiplatform and the ones that aren't I can get for the 360. Not to mention a good friend of mine will also be making the switch so we can play with each other still.

2 AntwortenI'm converting to the one.I'd go with the one for the exclusives here's a few I'm looking forward to: Titanfall, Halo, dead rising 3, fable legends, plants vs zombies garden warfare, quantum break, and d4. I'm also looking forward to the exclusive smart glass content that games will use in game like battlefield, the division, plants vs zombies ,fable legends and Ryse. And every game will have smart glass in minuscule parts like showing your achievements, inventory, and stuff like maps. Even though the Kinect raises the price i will get my money's worth by using the hand gestures, voice commands, and using it in game like by using it to search your inventory. I love the fact that you can split your screen with almost anything. You can even hook up your ps4 or ps3 to the xbox and split kill zone or something. The fact that its not backwards bothers me but if you hook up the 360 through the hd cord to your xbox it can be split that way. The controllers HD rumble is great and i will definitely enjoy it. I love it how it comes with a 4k wire. My tv I'd 4k so I'm really pumped. Tv integration is brilliant. I will definitely use it to record my shows and not even switch the input. Altogether though i think the xbox is a better deal

9 AntwortenOr, you can just be epic and stay on both consoles.... Im not taking sides

Bearbeitet von A Traffic Cone: 10/6/2013 12:05:19 PMI'm really not interested in any of them at the moment. I feel like no matter what I get I'm just going to want the other one just as much and regret not getting it down the road. If I really had to choose it'd be the Xbox because I don't want to give up 7 years of time and money from a profile because of $100 extra dollars for the console. Besides, I won't even get it for at least 6-8 months post-release. Also because nearly every friend I mainly play with is getting an xbox... I tried persuading them, but everyone knows you can't teach a dog new tricks if it's mentally handicapped and playing with the same trashy and broken ball for the past decade.

No. Stay Xbox.

4 AntwortenIm not converting until the Xbone has a: 1. price drop 2. crazy awesome new features like, oh, no Kinect requirement. At all. if that does not happen, i'll get a new 360 model. they say it'll be supported for many years, so that would be the best way to go IMO.
-
probably stick with my pc until more exclusives show up. most of the good next gen games are multiplats anyway
-
Bearbeitet von Obsric: 10/5/2013 5:21:26 PMI'm not sure how Microsoft broke your 360 after you got back from the GTA V midnight release; I'm concerned that this seemingly unrelated incident might 'lead you to believe' anything. I'm still leaning towards the xBox One, because I'm not sure Sony will be able to deliver on many of their promises at all. Sony claimed at E3 that PSN and GaiKai would be "the fastest gaming network in the world"; but nothing about the current state of PSN or GaiKai indicates the required vast improvements for that to be the case. There will be no GaiKai at launch, with no timeframe on availability outside NA - meanwhile all of the Sony 'sizzle' videos for the PSN highlight GaiKai heavy features. Sony have also stated that the PS4 Eye will have facial recognition and login, as well as voice recognition. With just over a month left, we're still yet to see a single example of any of these features. I don't think I could invest in Sony until I see some evidence that the quality of their services have been vastly improved.

3 AntwortenBecause no Playstation console has ever had problems?
-
I had both consoles this gen, but I don't really see myself getting an xbone for the foreseeable future.
-
I imagine there will come a time when I will need a console for games that are not coming to PC. I will need one for the sake of exclusives, of which MS consoles have none. Therefore, I'll get a PS4 in a year or two. I'll get a Wii U on black friday though.

70 Antworten
What about you, are you converting from 360 to PS4?
>Implying I ever needed to be "converted" >Implying the 360 was good

Not "converting". Too many reasons for me to stay with the Xbox brand. Halo has been my favorite franchise since 2004 and still is, couple it with Forza 5, Killer Instinct, TitanFall, Sunset Overdrive, and especially Quantum Break with sleeper games like the Black Tusk studio game and Fable legends, the games on Xbox One look damn fine. Not to mention that the versatility of it and the in-game cloud processing potential make the system unique in that, at least in my eyes, it feels like MS is thinking outside the box to improve its system brand more so than Sony with its PS4.
