I know the video is joking around (in the sense that this guy is actually a PC gamer and is pointing out things that are better on the PC).
So after hearing this list, why aren't you a PC gamer?

"I just want to put a disc in and play, not mess around with compatibility crap." 90% of the time... there is literally nothing in your way in terms of installing and immediately playing a game you just bought for a PC. Especially newer releases. The other 10% involves old-school pc gamers trying to play stuff that was made before windows existed... or just crappy quality assurance on the software in question. If your hardware is decent and mainstream. It literally installs itself. It's easier than consoles thanks to Steam. But, because of that 10% that involves unforseen software bugs, its good to know exactly what is inside your computer, so you know how to find a fix for it. And most bugs you run into usually only fall into this category. What brand of Video Card did you chose? Nvidia or ATI? If you know that information, most hurdles that get in the way of you playing that game you just installed. Are easily jumped over. It's no wonder that most you give up on PC when you run into issues with those pre-builts you've been buying from Dell, etc. Is because you know jack shit about that computer and what's inside it. So you don't even begin with the slightest clue on what to look for to troubleshoot any of it.

>certain games are broken on PC >certain games aren't even on PC >I want to have some money left over after buying my platform

18 AntwortenMost people here that leave comments on how PC gaming "is so expensive" and " have to upgrade it every 2 years" and "no controller" obviously never tried or never even owned a PC, so why leave a comment if your uninformed on the topic?

7 Antwortenmoney, and I don't like keyboard and mouse controls. and there's too much shit involved with PC games. oh it crashed. have to go into the files. it won't install. go into the files. (going into the files and what not when i don't know what the hell im looking for is annoying) and my all time favorite, can I even run this game? oh and I like not bogging my computer with rif raf because it still runs like it's brand new, and I love a fast laptop

Because I don't want to? I have the ability to but I just don't game enough to do it.
-
Cause I can't afford that shit lmfao

Not a fan of PC controls, and don't like that I have to sit at a desk to play lol. I do that all day at work, I wanna relax and chill and not have to worry about a mouse and keyboard. Also being able to have multiple people play at the same time on the same console is always nice. Then of course the cost of PC gaming with needing to have a good set up to run most games and keep it updated as games grow. Mostly though it all just sums up to personal preference.

Bearbeitet von TheThunderDumpling: 12/12/2014 10:35:19 PMMy PC is for work. I should explain....Since I spend so much time working at my PC, having games on it becomes detrimental to my productivity. I now keep my gaming and working spaces far away from each other.

Money! There you go

Because we only have one, and my brother will not get off.

10 AntwortenBecause a high-end PC is expensive and can be difficult to maintain. Consoles are cheaper and more durable in general. Note: I'm only talking about the better PCs. I know that you can run a lot of games on cheaper computers, but they don't run quite as smoothly.

3 AntwortenDon't really have the means to build a gaming PC right now. As soon as I do though, I'll be making up for lost time.

I do play on PC and Console. But I think probably the most like response will have to do with upkeep. On a console they make the games to fit in that console...on PC to play high end games that look beautiful costs money. Then if you cant afford that benchmark or can...it changes months down the road. A console will last year 6years. I know I have PC envy :/ I'd love a gaming PC...Santa? Please?
