New York in 'largest-ever guns bust' - gun control works

So I was right, guns get taken to states from lax gun laws to those with strict ones so the criminals can take advantage which makes the state with tight gun control laws look worse off.
I wonder how many people are going to start comparing the states of Carolina and New York to try and prove me wrong about New York having a higher murder rate.

[/quote] That's the thing though. Why do states with less gun control, like Texas, have a lower murder rate than states, like New York, that have more gun-control? Because places like New York and California make it difficult for law-abiding citizens to own a gun to which the common criminal understands such and allows them to commit a reign of terror on people that can't stop them then and there. Now, why would a person attempt to rob a bank or hold somebody at gunpoint in Texas? Answer is they won't out of the increased probability of a citizen carrying a firearm.
