Yay, now we're praising ghettos thugs as models for society.

It's this guy again.

18 AntwortenWhy is this stupid? It did have historic symbolism. To some it was the symbol of prejudice, to others a symbol of a community that will do anything to not take responsibility for its actions, and to more it is a symbol of lies fed through the media. Any way you look at it, that hoodie represents something to someone. The Smithsonian archives just such artifacts. Be it a presidential topee, a pop icon's glove, or a hoodie that turned into a symbol. I get that you don't like Martin. I get that you idolize Zimmerman. I've seen your posts. But to call an organization stupid, for doing what it's supposed to? Stop projecting YOUR opinion on the rest of us.

3 AntwortenI get it, you hate Trayvon Martin, think Barack Obama is the living incarnation of Satan, and practically worship George Zimmerman. But calling an organization stupid for doing their job is completely uncalled for. Stop projecting your opinions as concrete facts and trying to shove them down the Flood's collective throats.

Next we'll give a murderer a Nobel Peace Pri- Ah dang it, Barack has one already.

1 AntwortenIt begins...

1 AntwortenI really don't see how anyone thinks this is a good idea. Its just the hoodie of a kid who was killed in self defense and then the media exaggerated the case. Not really museum worthy.
-
Why the hell do we have that in the Smithsonian exhibit?
-
The plate will read:
The hoody from a case about two guys fighting on a lawn in America's retirement home before one gets shot.
We can put it right next to the Kony 2012 T-shirt.

5 AntwortenThe conservative calling every one else stupid? Classic, and ironic.
-
"Because it's such a symbol, it would allow you to talk about race in the age of Obama."
Fair enough.
-
5 AntwortenThis is not necessarily societies fault. Your general member of society just listens to the news to get their news without snooping around for the details. It's ashame that America's "newsertainment" networks all presented trayvon as the sweet innocent angel and Zimmerman as the bad guy. Even going as far as editing evidence to make it seem Zimmerman is racist.
-
4 AntwortenBecause everyone is stupid and you're Stephen Hawkins tier in intelligence.
-
11 AntwortenI don't see what the problem is. Artifacts from high-profile cases are often put in museums.

>waaaaah things don't cater to MY personal biases

So I guess a veteran's uniform from Iraq would have been... What? Out of touch? Offensive? I say we steal the hoodie and burn it in the woods.
-
They are acting like this never happened before....
-
It sounds like a great idea!

lulz... just lulz
