ForgeWorld - Remake map geometrys were just pasted together and given a bland color scheme. Exploit and HLG spots. Pieces do even line up properly in ForgeWorlds default maps.
Boneyard - Taken from campaign. Numerous exploit and HLG spot throughout the maps. Unbalanced in BTB. Bland visuals.
Spire - Taken from campaign. More exploit and HLG spots. Unbalanced in BTB. Bland visuals.
Zealot - Taken from campaign, but designed for multiplayer. Gimmick low gravity. Camping spot in low gravity area.
Countdown - Taken from campaign, but designed for multiplayer. Most camping friendly map ever in a Halo game. Bland visuals.
Boardwalk - Taken from campaign. The design is just shit. Exploit and HLG spots. Bland visuals. Unbalanced in BTB.
Reflection - Remake forced into campaign. Exploit and HLG spots. Camping friendly. Unbalanced in most gametypes.
Anchor 9 - Too small. Gimmick low gravity area. Exploit and HLG spots. Camping friendly.
Tempest - Exploit and HLG spots.
Breakpoint - Exploit and HLG spots. Banshee Banshee Banshee Banshee Banshee Banshee Banshee Banshe and Banshee.
Bungie totally dropped the ball on the Reach. The only good maps were the Anniversary maps which looked better visually and played better making them more in line with previous Halo maps.

Bearbeitet von MastaSin: 7/25/2013 7:23:05 PMThat's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but it's not a fact. I like more Halo: Reach maps a 1000 times better than Halo 4.
-
Better than Halo 4's by far.
-
I thought Reach maps were solid. Halo 4 maps are the worst so far.
-
Every H4 map is awful besides Haven.
-
1 AntwortenMy personal favorites are Sword Base, Anniversary Map Pack, Tempest, and Spire... Reach's maps aren't the best, but they are memorable... (Forge World was huge, wish there were more forge pieces with different skins...)
-
Even if the maps were good, people jet packing to the top of the map as soon as they spawn and picking up their kills ruined it. (Opinion)
-
I agree, especially that PoS known as Swordbase.

Bearbeitet von Jono: 7/24/2013 8:17:46 PMThe biggest piece of shit maps from Reach are The Cage/Uncaged and Asylum. I'd rather play on Snowbound and Isolation than those garbage maps.
-
Actually the maps were first made then implemented into the Campaign. http://youtu.be/6a8H0Cl_vbA?t=4m8s I do agree though I don't think they were all that great.
-
Nah, H4's were worse. And forge world is the best halo map ever!!!
-
Taken from campaign
Did it ever occur to you that maybe they were actually taken from the multiplayer instead? I would say Halo 4 has the worst maps, especially for BTB. I can't think of a single map that felt vehicle-friendly, aside from Ragnarok, but even then, that map is a bit tight, too.
-
13 AntwortenHalo 4s maps weren't much better. All the btb maps were too small and compact. At least in reach you had some elbow room
-
9 Antworten>2013 >still talking about how bad Halo:Reach is Lol. Halo is done, dead, once the new Xbox comes out will forget about Reach.
-
Bearbeitet von Hipi07: 7/24/2013 6:05:34 PMI'm not too sure on that actually. Halo 4 also had some pretty horrendous launch maps. Although I think it's safe to say that Reach had better DLC maps then Halo 4's DLC maps. I'd have to say Halo 4 has the worst maps. Halo 2 has hands down the best maps in the serious, and one of the best collection of MP maps in gaming.

It's well known that bungie designed the multiplayer maps first then added them somewhere in the campaign. The halo fanboys just think they were taken from campaign. As for the op I thought halo 3 had the worst. Mostly because they were trash compared to halo 2's maps.
-
Bearbeitet von Enlightened One: 7/24/2013 5:06:16 PMI agree 100%! The worst Halo maps out of the series so far.
-
Why isn't something being done about all the places that people camp on outside of the map?!
-
1 AntwortenYou realize just about every Halo map have some sort of exploit or HLG spot. Lol.
-
2 AntwortenWhat does HLG mean as well? Sorry if that sounds dumb
-
All of the "Campaign" maps were made for Multiplayer first, then Bungie thought it'd be cool to visit them in Campaign as well. It's usually only for like a few minutes any way, so it isn't a big deal.
-
Have you ever thought that the maps were made for multilayer but put into the campaign? I honestly don't see the big deal about that.
-
3 AntwortenYou realize all the maps were designed for multiplayer FIRST, and then imported into the campaign, right?

Paradiso is unforgivable.
