Yes you do as Bungie stated you unlike other games will not be able to play offline. Depending on what service you have X-box or Play Station. that will depend on them but for X-box you will need gold to play any Mutiplayer or online games. I am sure it will work that way with Play Station. -Fact is Destiny going to have Pvp/Multiplayer ? Yes it is confirmed but at E-3 and Gamerscom. it was mentioned on so stay tuned for that later on down the road and a few VidDoc's show it. -Fact Revival system will allow you to revive on your own or revive others faster.(not halo like) -Fact is Destiny like other FPS ? No Destiny will be a Shared World Shooter meaning it will need a online connection. -Fact what kind of setting is Destiny. ? Mythic Sci-Fi so that means it is a mix of Fantasy and Science Fiction set in its own world 700 years from now. As we can see in the E-3 demo you have space magic with all sorts of tech or traveler like powers. Mythic Science Fiction, from Bungie: "A futuristic place with age, history and mystery."(Thank you Splendid.) -Fact are players, weapon's guns fully customized ? Yes as we see in the E-3 video you see a skill tree on the Thunderlord not to mention sweet armor or other weapons. Deej has been posting weapons up such as the Red Death, Duke MK .44, Thundelord and The Silver Dollar. -You have three weapon weapon slots now. One Regular, One Heavy and One Special. -Fact how many are in a Fireteam ? Three people to a Fireteam. -Fact loot streams ? You will have private loot streams. So no fighting over loot. -Fact can i play alone ? Yes you can while some parts might require you to fight with others to take down a boss you can play the Campaign all your lonesome. -Fact how is Bungie going to handle networking ? Waiting on Details for that one keep your ear to the ground. -Fact is Bungie going to make a Collectors edition for Destiny ? Unknown at this time but the pre-order people will know when they are told. -Fact is Destiny like MMOs ?(enter game name here) No it is not it is a Fps a heart and has Rpg elements. Meaning its a Sandbox open world shooter not a MMO, as it does no adhere to the MMO formula. -Fact Ghost ? Yes it is a robot helper that is going to be upgradeable most likely. -Fact what are the playable races ? Just three Human,Exo and Awoken. -Fact classes: Titan, Warlock and Hunter. -Fact enemy races: Vex, Fallen, Cabal, Hive with a fifth unknown race. -Fact who is the Traveler ? It is unknown at this point but it holds still over the final battle spot. -Fact will we have space ships ? Yes as the details are Sketchy. -Fact what are the planets so far ? Venus, Earth, Mars,Titan (Saturn's Moon), Moon(Earths Moon), Even wrecked star ships in space. -Fact will Cat ears or other questionable items be put into Destiny ? Unknown but people should not put to much into this as it is a Shared Sandbox Shooter so Bungie is making the game they want to make but can be inspired by cool ideas that fit in as it is unknown what is in the game at this moment. Count on many things being discussed to never make it off the B.Net Forums. -Fact will Tiger-Man be in the game ? No he was one of the player races considered for Destiny but was cut as it was unknown what history or what they were called. -Fact Joseph Staten Lead Writer and Designer left Bungie. Destiny is on track as he spent 4 years developing it. He will be missed. He wrote all of the Halo's, Destiny and Contact Harvest.(He will be missed by the Bungie Community.) R.I.P. Tiger-Man. Ok, so I realize that you need an internet connection to play the game, and that you need xbox live gold to play multiplayer. But do you need XBL Gold just to play the game itself? As in single player only?

Fact: Destuny IS a MMO, MMO= Massive Multiplayer Online... People assume MMO stands for RPG, or WoW, when there are plenty of PC games that are MMO that are not RPG. Hell GT5 is MMO, just not to the 'massive' extent. It does have many, many people in the GT Online part of the game.. That is MMO. Bungie, though I love them, lied about it not being an MMO, just to give it more space from other MMO's and help it even more to be more 'Original'. Either way it is whatever I guess.

Fact does not mean what you are using it for. Also MMO-- massively multiplayer online. Bungie calling their game something else is semantics, trying to define a game for which they refuse to give details upon, i.e. anything specific about Destiny. You're just as ignorant as the rest of us when it comes to actual definitive answers about the game.
