Since matchmaking will come to Destiny when its released or after it does, do you think they should throw in some kind of custom game and forge type features too? They did it with Halo and I have heard that Far Cry 3 had custom games and forge like features as well. Do you think it would be possible on at least next gen? I would be extremely happy to see something like that. Build your destiny! LOL.

honestly theater a.k.a film your own things/pictures.

2 AntwortenForge dosen't seem to fit with Destiny, I would prefer Destiny without it, to be honest.
-
3 AntwortenBecause of its always online function, I don't think Destiny would be a good world for a forge option.
-
I would love there to be an option to switch to 3rd person in certain areas. Sort if like what MW2 did with the matchmaking mode Third Person TDM

3 AntwortenI think that there will be offline couch-playing. 4 people with 4 controllers could play offline together, I think (hope). I would guess that they would have something like Gunslinger suggests, where there would be in-game customizable spaces for each player. If there was to be something like Forge, I would guess it would come later, on like some deserted planetoid or something where that would be the only reason to go there.

Bearbeitet von EliteStriker144: 1/23/2014 10:27:39 PMForge, I never thought of that in Destiny. Probably because of all the other options and stuff we have to play. Forge wouldn't work in this game. It just wouldn't.

only if it is optional to be played in a different server i dont want random people making sucky maps and screwing up my destiny universe. now if its optional in a different server that would be cool for multiplayer but i can see alot of people making them and taking themselves away from the first person shooter/mmo play style that destiny was originally designed for. and the destiny universe is going to be so massive that i wont really have the time exploring what other people have done.

maby make it so you cant over power shotguns and keep range and down on them like for example the ksg in black ops 2

3 AntwortenI'd put in houses you could live in (not visible in world) consider it more like an interactive lobby. Also add marriage for playing couples

1 AntwortenI hope they add split screen multilayer on one console because most of my mates wont have the game

2 AntwortenBring Forge, please

1 AntwortenI hope they have a forge or something, maybe an editable firing range

I am so excited for Destiny! I think it might eclipse Halo as my favorite game! I just love the copious amounts of weapons and armor customizations being put into this game! Although, I do hope there is some sort of color coding system, so that you don't look like a walking rainbow while you have all of your favorite armor equipped. Also, a broad range of melee weapons would be incredible. Maybe even swords! I can't wait for September ninth! This game is going to be amazing!
-
3 AntwortenI think they should allow players to play split screen on one console so that if i have a mate come over we can play together they did it in halo CE, 2, 3,4 why not in destiny.
-
3 AntwortenWAT?? Custom anything makes everything better forge was amazing in halo no reason not to see them get that "lightning caught in the bottle again" I think it would be great!
-
3 AntwortenTHIS ISNT HALO GOSH DARN IT! realize that this is a new project with new ideas coming from bungie. They didn't sell halo just to realign it. We all love forge, but it has no home in destiny. Bungie should move forward and not backtrack reusing old ideas.
-
3 AntwortenNot forge, but how about private/invite or friends only games. Maybe where they all have to go to the moon and see how long they can survive while being attacked and invaded by the hive. They could build their base while they are being attacked. That would also work well as a side quest!
-
2 Antworteneh.. I don't think that's a should be in there considering the point of destiny is so deep and I don't think it would really fit in.

1 AntwortenPerhaps some Forge-like qualities would add a nice touch? I've read some people say they would like to have it limited to something on more of a personal level and shareable with your friends/fire team. I'm not sure what that might be though, maybe a part of the city could be used like that. Perhaps there could be a "Holo" deck (Star Trek) could be used to make specific types of Forging? I'll add my other 2 cents with my own idea. I very quickly fell in love with Gears of War Horde style/arcade. I find the team work to be awesome and perhaps with all the alien races we have to battle in Destiny, it would be a lot of fun to have a fire team or 2 be able to take on and defend a huge war zone or fortress. We could fight an epic battle like "Take Back the Moon" or something on any other planet. These would be set maps and not a live event. Anyway, that's my own idea.

It's absolutely possible, the big question is to what degree they want to focus on supporting such a feature. They have certainly not ruled it out, they just don't want to talk about ways that players can leave their creative mark on the Destiny Universe yet.

1 AntwortenBungie, for a long time, seems to be moving away from competitive multiplayer. They still keep it around, but PvE is definitely the focus this time around. For that reason, adding a map editor for competitive multiplayer would be like exercising a vestigal tail; there's no reason to waste time on it, you should count yourself lucky that it's even there in the first place. However, some sort of stronghold editor for defending against enemies would be pretty cool.

Bearbeitet von DEZARATH: 1/11/2014 10:48:10 PMI loved forge world, but I would rather Bungie just break its ties to Halo because it will always be shadowing them in every new venture. The only thing I want that's similar to Forge world would be just a play space meant for the player. A slice of the city with Ai wandering around stalls and homes that are committed to that player's roster of created Gaurdians. Their personal emblem adourns every fluttering flag because that player is responsible for those people. Throw in some forging so the player can invite clan members to train or just get together. But nothing as extensive as H3 or Reach. That's it on forging for me.

Bungie's map editor for Marathon, their first shooter trilogy, was called forge. It has been in each of their shooters but idk if it would fit in Destiny.
