stupid anime stuff
All the people who are posting stuff about the cat ears and cosplay this is a sci-fi first person shooter not some stupid animated fantasy game.

9 Antwortenummmm anime is in the roots/foundation of Destiny, you have to put credit in the founding image of the game, its not JUST FOR you jarheads and startrek folk, its for us Cowboy Bebop fans, Outlaw Star Junkies, Tenchi Muyo followers, etc. such as myself~

You are seperated from your squad with no way to contact them yet you press on. You finally make it to the resting spot of the fabled red rust pulse rifle. You sudennly see movement on your motion tracker. Your shields are too low for another fight and you have come too far to go back as you turn around it is only a female hunter with cat ears paws and a tail and she gives you a playful meow along with small scratch and holds up her pet puppy to lick your brand new helmet. you are wondering whether you should blow this hunters brains out but before you can finish thinking a hive combat form comes down and drags you away. You plead for help but she is too busy licking her cat ears and cuddling her puppy to help. The last thing you remember before dying is the hunters cat asetts and hhow you were that close too completing your mission only to have to start over again.

I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around and see...... a cutesy Titan with anime cat ears and a tail..... I'm sorry but that would kill the epic mood...... And I think/know that Bungie likes epic moods.

I am completely fine with purely cosmetic features available for PVP, such as the particle effects in HR. I do, however, disagree with what people call the "fairy, wide eyed, and cutesy" anime elements being featured in the main story line. I personally don't think it would contribute to Bungie's goal of an immersive world.

50 AntwortenI think some people take gaming way to seriously... its just a game so I don't see why they cant have fun with it as well. (imo) I believe that people can do what ever the heck they want as long as it doesn't affect the core experience, besides the only time you may ever run into them is when your at the tower or a public event, not like some one with you will be PAC man and some anime wanna be. they even said you can just not interact with them so whats it too you? why should we have to take it so seriously. games that take them selves too seriously get old pretty quick, how ever I think bungies emphasis on space magic shows they know its a game and they like to joke around and have fun. loosen up buddy its not like some anime dude is going to just walk up and make crap odd for you. besides for all we know it might be kinda funny seeing a dude in all combat gear with a crazy lmg mowing down xeno scum with a pair of bunny ears on, tell me that doesn't make you smirk not even the slightest. people have a right to a opinion yours seems to be that destiny is just sci fi... its a sci fi "rpg" shared world shooter as from what bungie has said too IGN. so if anime bros wanna wear bunny ears fine. why take it soo hard when its just a game, let people have their bunny ears, we still have our space magic :D .

6 AntwortenIt would be something I would do, were I actually in this setting. I mean, armor customization exists for exactly what customization entails right? Meaning we can be unique? Criticizing people's Taste in a video game character is like.. Actually.. No. It's a video game. Who gives a shit? Make your character and let people have or fantasize about theirs. You can be against individuality, therefore your point is null and void.
