You're only 15. You'll get better at it with time, I hope. When I was your age I too struggled with simple exams of only 50 pages of course material. Now I'm in my final Bachelor's year at law school taking classes 5 classes in a semester, the shortest and easiest being 350 pages and the toughest one being 1150 pages. Studying is not something you know from the very start. It's a learning process. You start in elementary school taking tests on a page or two. Then you get to high school, studying more and harder subjects. Although 8 pages seems very little for someone who's 15, it's part of a process. You'll get better at it.

Oh, and I know that this seems like a no brainer, but my Biology teacher told me to make sure I revise what I don't know rather than what I do. apparently You are natuarally attracted to reading about something you know, because it makes you feel good about yourself that you already know it.

How hard could it be to revise 8 pages. Take my advice, it will be weird, but TRUST ME it will work. 1.Take a shower(relax, take a nice warm shower, get clean and you'll be refreshed when you get out) 2. Put on some comfy clothes (sweat pants, tshirt, sleeper shorts, whatever) 3. Put on some good music (whatever makes you happy) 4. Just sit down on your bed and go at it. Be alone and let everything out of your life. Just focus.

You've just reminded me that I have My B1 and C1 exams soon, and my History GCSE controlled assessment. I haven't revised all easter!
-
The trick isn't to learn it all in one go, but to learn it gradually as it is brought up in class. If you're learning it all for the first time before a test, of course it will be difficult.

I haven't revised all Easter. Chill. I'm waiting tuntill tomorrow to kick back into work mode.

It's probably just boring.

1 AntwortenI didn't revise much for my GCSEs and still managed to get mostly B's with a few A's, so you should be fine. I do regret not revising though, lol. Revising is hard, just try not to get stressed about it or you'll learn nothing.

make it colourful. i had to memorise a 5-minute french passage once and i learned it all the half-hour before by making various passages different colours.

It's probably more to do with your motivation to study rather than your general intelligence.
