I know this thread is kindof dead now, but I wanted to throw some information in since this thread came up when I searched google for ways to unlink my Facebook account from my Bungie.net account. I was getting the error message: "You cannot unlink an account that you are signed in to," or something similar. The remedy for this is to, after you've linked your dummy Google account, sign out of Bungie.net. Sign back in, but use the dummy Google account to log in, instead of your Facebook account that you used before. Now you will be logged in "through" your dummy Google account and will be able to unlink your Facebook.

From what I understand, Bungie accounts always need one other tpye of account linked to them. To unlink an account from a Bungie account, you must have another type of account still linked to it. If I understand, though, you have two different Bungie accounts and each is linked to another type of account (Microsoft and Facebook). If you would like to consolidate those, you'll have to do what EZcompany2ndsqd suggested... Create a fake Google account and link it to the Bungie account that you do not want to keep. Unlink the other (Microsoft or Facebook) account from that Bungie account and link it to the one you want to keep. It sounds complicated because I've used the word "account" about a tousand times, but it's really not.

You'll have to create a "Dummy" acounnt (Like google+) and link it to the account that you wish to no longer use, then unlink your Facebook account from the now *Dummy* account and link it to the Xbox live account. Let me know if that works or if you need more help. :) Here are the steps again to follow. 1) determine which login methods you currently have 2) determine which ones you wish to keep for your Xbox profile 3) Create a "dummy" or disposable login method (preferrably of a type that you don't have linked to your current profile) 4) Link that "dummy" login method to the Facebook account that you intend to walk away from. 5) Unlink the Facebook account that you plan on keeping/using with your Xbox profile. 6) Link your Facebook account with the Xbox account. 7) Make sure that the account you are "walking away from" only has your new and disposable "dummy" account linked. 8) Use your new Bungie.Net account (with the proper linked methods that you want) and ignore the old Bungie.Net account & the disposable login that you created for this process.
