I mean really, use your heads people. They are trying to branch out and get the attention of playstation players as well as xbox ones. I guarantee that they have exclusive content for the xbox as well. They more than likely made practically the same video for both, Sony just did their reveal first. Why should Bungie stick to just one console only? This game has probably cost Bungie millions to make. They should reach out to as many fans as possible to get their game sold. As ambitious as this game concept is, they will need to recoup the money they spent and continue to spend from as many players as possible. There is nothing wrong with doing that. They are still a business and still have to make a profit. You'll get your own content as well, I have no doubt. Myself, I'm going to wait to see which one the game features work better on before I decide which next gen console I buy. Trust in Bungie to do everything they can to satisfy all of their audience, giving both consoles their own special content. I trust Bungie, haven't been let down yet in all the years since Halo: CE. So I say again, calm down children.

I really don't know why people are getting all in a twist about this "only" ps3 and ps4 release i would bet a ton of money that Bungie and Activision will not abandon the new generation of xbox and they are waiting for the announcement of the new system to announce it for that side of the population I for one am very very excited about the new generation of consoles and ive been patiently waiting to see where the new generation goes and which side of the field i will be taking if i cannot get both. Especially with the news of the new platforms coming out for both companies i think everyone needs to just slow down and take a step back from such strict loyalties and slander because both Bungie and Activision have been pumping money out of xbox users for to many years to shut them out of a game like this (at least that i can see) but only time will tell. One thing is for sure however, if this does turn out to be a truly playstation only game i will be forking over the dough to buy one just to play it

am I allowed to lol at the people who are raging like bungie has only ever made games for the xbox? Seriously... Bungie's been around for a long time now, while they weren't "huge" until Halo, that doesn't mean they have any kind of obligation or responsibility to the xbox, especially now that they're no longer under Microsoft's control. That said, I have an xbox, and I intend to keep playing Xbox as my primary and sole non-pc platform. I'm certain exclusive content goes both ways, and if it doesn't, I've grown used to not getting everything I wanted from a game.

Excuse me, you guys really think us xbox people will celebrate the fact that another system is in the bright while we are still left in darkness ?

It means more money for them which means more money poured into future games for everyone, and while they're making playstation exclusive content, they're definitely going to make some exclusives for the xbox too. I'd bet all the money in my pocket right now on it. When microsoft announces the new xbox, Bungie will likely announce Destiny on that console and say something similar to their PS4 announcement. Just wait and watch kiddies, wait and watch, and you will not be disappointed. Also, stop jumping to conclusions, its unbecoming of you.

Calm down guys, there is no reason Destiny should be Xbox exclusive! The only reason the Halo series was an Xbox exclusive was because Microsoft needed Halo to put the Xbox on the map. Now that Bungie is on its own and decided to team up with Activision (which publishes cross platform), making a game for playstation AND xbox will only provide a larger community (especially if the cross-platform play rumors are true) and more income for Bungie and Activision to put back into the game!

Bungie had basically said right after Reach that they were going multi-platform; that's where the money is. Halo definitely made Bungie and Microsoft a ton of money as a console-exclusive, but now that Bungie doesn't have Halo to fall back on, multi-console releases are how to make money (I'm sure Activision also had a hand in that decision.) Also, the reason Bungie hasn't announced Destiny for the new Xbox is because Microsoft hasn't announced the new Xbox yet. So hold your horses and wait for another month or two. On a second note, Bungie, please, talk with Activision and see if you can help them make Call of Duty less retarded. A Bungie Call of Duty would be sweeeeeeeet. Maybe even a return to form like CoD4.

I play xbox and yea i was kinda disappointed to find out bungie was also making destiny for the playstation but its not about what we want its what the company wants, to sell as many games possible,I remember back in 2000 when microsoft acquired bungie the pc community felt as if they were betrayed but it was for the best because bungie wasnt making any money from pc gaming only.Now that bungie is stronger and is backed by activision they're gonna expand to everyone (maybe even the pc community again). Everyone who played halo from the beginning will remember bungie as the creators of the Xbox because without them there wasnt a reason to buy an xbox.

5 AntwortenWill all systems be linked together??? As much as I would love to see this be a xbox exclusive, I'm pretty happy that destiny will be spread across all systems. "BUT" if all systems aren't going to be on one server (linked together). Then I'm going to be really sad. A game this big need to have a lot of people to make the experience of this game so much greater. Having people from Xbox, PlayStation, and PC playing together will be amazing/epic.
