Hey everybody, I could use some help/ suggestions regarding an RPG Series.
I'll start from the beginning.
Ok, there are a lot of games I like, and enjoy...there are also a LOT of popular games/ series I have not played, and there is a couple I don't actually like.
The first RPG I ever got was TES V: Skyrim. I LOVE IT. I have played and replayed it many, many times(ALOT), especially with all the DLC. I've enjoyed that game so much, it's opened my mind, and I've been looking at more RPGs', not just action/shooter, or racing games which is what a lot of people focus on. A recent article of an RPG in Game Informer caught my eye, and so I want your opinions.
The game that caught my eye is of "The Witcher" series...Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt for the next gen consoles(X720). Here's were I need input. I want to get into more RPG's, so do you think I should invest in Witcher 3? Coming from my 1st RPG of Skyrim(Which I absolutely love), do you think I would like it. (I know it is personal preference). I've looked at posts of similarities and differences. How Skyrim has the fact that you create your guy, and Witcher you are one guy. Ive seen how Witchers' storyline is more linear( I don't know if that's correct). SO...any opinions, input, information, suggestions would be nice. I love Skyrim, and Witcher 3 caught my eye. it seems like it would be cool, but I can't make the decision on my own. All suggestions appreciated!
I am focused on The Witcher series, however if you do have other RPG suggestions for me, let me know!

Fallout 3 or NV

Mass Effect

Go with the Mass Effect series. Mass Effect 1 is a bit more of an rpg than the other two, but ME 2 and 3 made a lot of overall improvements, so it shouldn't bother you.

The good news is that it gets a lot better. It also appears that you are focusing only on console RPGs, if thats the case then I would certainly recommend Mass Effect (1) as it is a SOLID RPG. It does get bashed for it's micromanagement system, but that is optional. The Mako can actually make the game more immersive, but if you find it annoying simply be more efficient about going about. I hear the Witcher and Fable series are good, but I don't know in what ways.

I'd got for Mass Effect and the Elder Scrolls games.

Skyrim was the last RPG that got me hooked for what seems like forever. Fable might be a good casual RPG to play, the first one was really good and the other two where OK. I don't know if my expectations where too high or if the original game has aged well. The Mass Effect trilogy is well loved by most, and not super hardcore unless you want it to be. The last RPG that got me hooked was Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, but most games from that series are very good. So check out one of the enhanced editions on iOS or Android if you've got one.
