I do. I weigh myself daily, I count every calorie, and make sure that I work out daily. Though I realize that I am in a minority in thinking this way. Looking around tells me that nearly no one thinks about what they eat and what they burn off.
So, do you care?

I'd do it to lose weight and be healthy not because people would think I was ugly or something.
-
Yep. I use to be a chubby kid and I had to work my ass off to get where I am now.

Bearbeitet von xH u 7V tt 3 R: 1/31/2013 8:08:39 PMMy metabolism acts very fast, so anything unhealthy I eat it doesn't really take effect. And I have horrible appetite problems so one day I won't be hungry all day and then wake up in the middle of the night and want to eat. Sometimes dysthymia causes me to just not eat at all. So I think I would care if I actually had to worry about it. I mean, if I was a fat -blam!- I'd hate my self most likely. But I would strive to lose the weight
-
I care a lot. Just not as extreme as I used to back in high school.
-
I don't care too much, but I still go to the gym. I'm trying to actually gain weight in muscle though.
-
I care, but I'm not a health nut. I'll take the occasional cheeseburger.
-
Bearbeitet von Bitty: 1/31/2013 7:59:45 PMI'm not obese. I eat what ever I want and regularly go to fast food restaurants. My job and school stress keeps me in shape. In fact I've lost 20 pounds since I started working last year. I currently weigh 155lbs.
-
I go Thai-Boxing 3 times a week at the local gym, and I eat healthy. So yeah, I try to care.
-
1 AntwortenI wouldn't recommend weighing yourself daily. Natural fluctuations based on current hydration levels, and if you've eaten and/or excreted recently might lead to some unessecary worries.
-
1 Antwortenyes i do care. i way 130 and one of my friends weighs 90
-
well im not, so obviously.
-
Considering that almost everybody in my family has high cholesterol and hypertension, and everybody on my father's side had a heart attack, yes I care greatly.
-
Im starting to get charlie desenatization
-
Yes. But I'm not, so I eat anything I want to eat.
-
I don't particularly think about what I eat. Though I'd hate to be obese. yay for metabolism and regular exercise.
-
Yes, but I go to the gym 4 times a week and switch my working out pattern. I'm at the ideal weight and body fat for my height and age, and I plan to keep it that way as I age.
-
Ive never been obese or even close to it. My metabolism wouldnt allow me to become that way. However, no I really wouldnt care. The only reason I work out 5 days a week is because of sports. If I didnt play sports, I wouldnt stay in shape. Honestly, I hate working out and eating right.
-
I care. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and work different muscle groups on different days. Im not fat at all, though I have some around the stomach that I still want to get rid of. Id say im more fit than a lot of people, but im certainly not buff or anything. As for food, trying to eat better

6 AntwortenCharlie, working out every day actually doesn't help you. You need to workout every other day, and do different muscle groups only once per week. Any body building forum would tell you that. Of course I don't know if you're going for muscle tone but it works for burning fat too. OT: I have an extremely high metabolism so I can eat basically anything that I want without gaining a single pound. That might change with age but I don't have an eating problem right now. I love working out (which seems backwards), so that might contribute to my metabolism. I hate being out of shape, it just drives me nuts, so I naturally want to stay within the right BMI.
-
For health reasons, yes. I realize that no matter what I do or how I look, I'll still be judged and ridiculed, then objectified by society. But as long as I'm happy and healthy, I'm not too worried. I don't work out daily and I don't watch my diet, though. I don't have time to go to the gym and a lot of my volunteer work is at the computer. I just have to do some common-sense eating and take the stairs instead of an elevator. I want to care, but I don't have the time.
-
I care if I am fat or not. I still don't know the definitiion of obese.
-
I prefer not to being fat, but I'm not overly concerned with what I eat and stuff.
-
I weigh myself every day for the opposite reason. I'm unhealthily thin, and most days it is hard to get up in weight. People may not think that being too thin is an issue, but it is and can be as potentially dangerous as being overweight. So no, I don't care about being obese. I do watch my weight with zeal though.
-
Yes, there's a reason I'm not a tub of lard.
-
I would not like it if I was obese and if I was I would do my best to get in better shape.
-
I do because there is a host of physical ailments that comes from being obese and diabetes does run in my family.
