Sorry if this has been posed already, but how many of you are old enough to remember the references in this video?
Technically, I'm an 80s baby, but I was definitely young enough in the 90s to enjoy this trip down memory lane.

I was 11-19 in the 90s, best of both worlds i guess.
-
Yup - 21 right now

Bearbeitet von Tartan 118: 11/11/2013 6:58:51 PMI'm guessing a lot of those American fads hit the UK later, because wallets on a chain definitely didn't pop up in my life until like 2001/2. But yeah. Good times.
Damnit, it's for IE.
Wow, I'm old: January '90.

1993 I hate this egotism that has developed with 90's kids, though. It's friggin' stupid.
-
'93. I remember dat millenium switch.
-
-
I remember those. Even though im born near 2000.
-
Born in 96', but a lot of the 90s stuff carried over into the early 2000s.
-
I remember most of those things, not all of them, more precisely the stuff for older kids because I was only a little kid for the 90s. I do however loathe the 90's kids stuff. It really irks me seeing OMG 90S KIDS WILL NOE.

6 AntwortenDoes being born in 98' count?

I caught each of those.

1992 DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE!

Has anyone got that comic where there is a teacher teaching history class, and a student asks why there is nothing about the 90's, then the teacher cries or something saying only 90's kids remember the 90's.
-
97, but I got all the 90's stuff. Hungry hungry hippos was a mess -_-
-
I'm a '97 kid myself, but I grew up in Hawaii. The '90s kind of hit us late, and I experienced all of the above way back when. The rich kids got all their stuff from the mainland, and we poor kids pretty much got the ass end of the '80s in '99. It's a unique cultural separation, that I'm pretty sure evened out after they built the first Wal-Mart. Quite enthralling, I never noticed that we were growing up in separated cultural eras, I always just thought that was the divide between rich and poor, I only discovered the difference after moving to the mainland.

1 AntwortenDoes remember Roscos Modern Life,Angry Beavers,Hey Arnold, and The kids show with the turtle named Ben or something like that count even tho I was born in 1995

4 AntwortenAny kid that grew up watching Rugrats, Doug, and Hey Arnold is from my generation.
-
Oh yeah I remember and had a log if that stuff. I had a sweet pair of LA Gears with lights in them. That video summed up my 4th-9th grade. I wish they went a little farther back in the 90's but still sweet.
-
If you were born in late '94 and later then you are not in anyway a 90's kid. I was born in '95 and got every reference in that video but that's because I had older siblings. I consider myself an early 00's kid
-
The definitely flooded me with memories.

Bearbeitet von Alphy : 9/11/2013 6:02:38 AMI feel like I posted in this thread before, months ago. Anyways, no, I am not at all a '90's baby, but I still do understand some references in that video. EDIT: Oh, yep, I did.
