Lets see what the non-Americans on Bnet think about our president. If you live in the US, you can participate but please say that you live in the US to not cause confusion.
Also say where you're from. :)

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cam: 1/27/2013 11:45:42 AMWhat is there to like about him? He constantly infringes on our rights and freedoms, has helped destroy our economy and murders people. He is a complete joke just like George Bush. He should be in prison for life, yet our naive society re-elected the piece of filth.

3 AntwortenThe Netherlands: Obama is the best president ever! We LOVE him! He bans guns and he sure loves drugs! Peace bro!

As a Canadian, I think he's pretty damn horrible.

1 AntwortenThe rest of the world reckon Obama is a good thing. link

4 AntwortenDual Swedish-American citizen. California. A little disappointed but not bad, given the cluster-blam!- that is congress. No one could have gotten anything done with congress being as it was, I'm surprised he got his health care bill through.

He's a very good public speaker, for one thing. I get really enraptured in what he says. In terms of politics and policies, I agree with a lot of things that he wants to do, but I find that the fact that he has yet to close Guantanamo and the fact that drone strikes in the Middle East are increasing is troubling. At the very least, I'm glad he publicly stated that he supported the idea of gay marriage. During the 2012 Election, I was so happy he won. No offence to Republicans or American conservatives, but Romney and Ryan were TERRIFYING. The fact that people could create long debates of just Mitt Romney arguing with himself using unedited soundbites is horrifying, considering how politically, culturally, and economically powerful the US is. I'm Canadian, by the way.

Many people on Bungie.net have already expressed a liking/preference of Obama. So I would assume most of the people from other countries were included in that.
-
Let's put it this way, the thought of Romney almost becoming president was one of the most horrifying moments I've ever experienced.
-
Not as bad a choice as that other guy.

Pretty average.

3 Antwortenhe's black

He's Irish I'm Irish. He's cool with me.
-
3 AntwortenLol Obama. He only won because Romney is weird and he is black so he automatically gets the black peoples vote. He sends Israel billions every year even though there not in debt while America is down 6 Trillion. LOL London

Comes across as a decent bloke. The rest of the world much prefers it when the Democrats are in power. Wanting to turn America into a social democracy like the Western European countries seems a bit bold. It'll happen over a long period of time.
-
I think he represents the US well, he's a cool guy, so I like him. I'm British.
-
Power hungry and deceitful, but better than any of the alternatives.
-
I wish we had Obama instead of Harper.

1 AntwortenYou should rename america Obamia and be done with it.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von MajorCrabs: 1/24/2013 11:48:27 PMAt the begining I hated him. he said he was going to change a lot of things and rightfully so I didnt believe him. I felt like he was a fad that Americans were getting caught up in. I knew he wouldnt be ale to keep all his promises and I didnt like how he was promising so many changes knowing he wouldnt be able to accomplish most of them. Now I have to admit he did a good job. He did set out to change some things that he promised and overall I think he is more likeable on a civilian level. As a human I probably wouldnt like him but as a politician he is pretty good. EDIT: I also didnt like the fact that black people were going to vote for him just because he was black.

The rest of the world likes it when Democrats are in power. Thats about it.
-
He is their lord and savior. All who do not bow down shall be cast down and eaten by the downtrodden unwashed masses.
-
2 AntwortenHe seems to be doing good. If anything he's trying to something decent anyway. Kinda depressing when you know anything he happened to accomplish will be knocked over by the next ass to come along. Speaking of politics, I really wish we could boot our god damn Prime Minister out, Stephen Harper. We don't use a system like america does, and so if people vote for him enough, he can keep coming back as much as he wants. I give him credit, he's done well in staving off the economy crash in Canada, but when it comes to environmental concerns he says no to anything trying to help and yes to anything that could make things worse.

6 AntwortenHe's ok. He's better than Bush was and his policies are a lot less crazy than Romney's.
