1 AntwortenYeah, I'm having a blast ;) I like not having a spam filter, I respond fast.
-
A separate forum for the Flood would be nice. Also, you should keep the name of the Flood, and keep the banner.
-
Bring back forums. Have everything in forums like before, but if it keeps people happy, leave in hashtags for searching. Darken whiteness. Make it look awesome though. Just black is kinda dull... Change background to something more simple. I've never liked the rising septagon. It's too bright. Make post's go in posted order, not backwards. Just these things, especially the first one, would be of great help in making the site a lot better.

I think for orgazinational use, and a sense of familiarity, you should keep the main forums, The Flood, Universe and Community, on a seperate system than the hash tag. Also; make it easy to find. As a veteran of the previous website, I was lost very easily. Off-Topic(?): Will members still have a colored bar representing their rank(Heroic, Legendary, Mythic)? Because I miss my blue hat.

Sometimes you need new hawtness... We went from "The History Channel" to "History" and "History HD". We removed all the mainstream scientists and showed you the truth. You guys did the same and I'm proud of you! First "Bungie.net" now "fake hipster facebook.next". Removed The Flood and added Sexy Longhorn. History: Made everyday

Needs a black background and separate forums, and maybe new titles.
-
If the forums were made separate, comments were sorted from oldest to newest, and pages were implemented it would be much better.
-
Separated forums. I like the whole hashtags idea, but if you want organization and ease of use, you should separate the forums how they were before. I like the white background though
-
I think it's universally agreed that seperate forums would be much preferred. Change the background to black, increase the text size and avatar size and it'll be great.
-
2 AntwortenDivided forums and no blinding white light please. Also everything needs to be bigger. When I zoom in to 110% its an amazing size. Although the endless comments section kind of makes it take forever to scroll.... About that, no endless comment page pls. Back to pages, makes for more conversation. I feel like no one sees my posts and I no longer have the courage to try to read the posts ("comments") in threads anymore....just isnt as easy as old bungie where I was able to read the OP without being blinded AND all the comments AND have a conversation.
-
I'm pasting this from another thread: What needs to happen, which was posted in another thead, is to have actual forums like community, universe and flood, then have a hashtag system for each forum to find specific topics if Bungie really want this hashtag system, that way everybody gets everything, although I wouldn't use the hashtags.
-
I'd like separate forums to make a comeback. Also, I don't like the hashtag system. I think people are going to get lost easily trying to guess what other people are tagging their posts as. I do like that you can change your display name, and I like that the site looks a little more sophisticated; but for all the pros and cons of the old bnet forums, I'd much rather just resist change and stay in the comfort zone I've come to know over the past 6 years.
-
The tag system is not working for me so far. People are simply tagging their threads with every tag they can think of: Community, Bungie, offtopic, flood and then the thread is about what you eat for breakfast in the morning. If it were only one or two people it would be easy to deal with using the hid button however it is a pervasive issue. Everyone wants their thread to be seen by everyone so they are intentionally misusing the tag system. Every time there was a discussion about doing away with forums such as the Flood or any forum really the replies were always "well then the topics will just spill over into every aspect of Bungie.net" clearly that has happened. I think that combining the tag system and the old forum system would have been much more preferable to simply getting rid of forums completely, and I think that a large portion of the community agrees with me.

DeeJ, to be honest.. I don't like this at all. But that's why it's a beta. But is there a way for you guys to put the old site back online again, please? :'(
-
I think we should go back to individual forums for each "community" like we used to have. I like everything else though. The followers, and posting is nice.
-
Please give them their own Forum before they turn everything into the Flood forum!
-
So is it #Flood or #FLOOD or #TheFlood or #THEFLOOD or...
-
Im so lost.... D:

Honestly DeeJ, I'm not having any fun whatsoever. Sorry.

Bearbeitet von TheGreatAvenger: 1/11/2013 5:57:33 PMHonestly I really like it so far. It was big surprise seeing the site like this for the first time today. On one hand I was excited to see the update but on the other I was completely lost, so I went exploring, read some threads, PAQ, and everything became clear. I'm not sure how I feel about threads being sorted by newest though an option to sort by either newest or oldest would be nice. Edit: Also I tried out the hide button, it seems that you can't 'unhide' something afterwards, or can you? Edit again: also what are the rules for discussion now? politics/religions/etc. I assume this has already been answered somewhere on the forums
-
wow your septagon is really bright DeeJ

Aside from the things my fellow Floodians mention, I really dislike the fact that private groups aren't private anymore. Bungie.net's private groups are dark places, and some things would come to light that should stay in the dark. At least have an option to keep it private, you know? Also, the reply thing kinda sucks. Roleplaying is a royal bitch now, and you'll just miss some of the Flood's funny-ass posts. An endless page is also a bit weird. Seems more like a downstep than an upstep, you know? #Feedback I don't mind the hashtags that much, but it doesn't make sense how lady Bungie is one big forum now. I guess it's for the upcoming wave of Destiny fans, but that just makes me feel replaced, you know?
-
Im adapting quickly. At this point the only thing Id like to see brought over are threads from the old b.net, and a darker post background. Good to here from you. There wasn't a single person I didn't miss during those two days away.
-
well I love the fact that now I am "The disputed Bin" instead of Binman59 but I really hate the lack of subforums
-
1 AntwortenPLEASE bring back specific forums like before. Whenever your new game gets revealed, it'll need its own forum. No hashtags! That's my only advice.
-
2 Antwortenthe old site works for me. *less douchey part* i dislike the white i dislike new posts being at the top; proper discussion is pretty much dead now i dislike the removal of sub-forums. it was a really good way to organise people and threads i like the notifications system; it's a really handy feature i like having the ability to change my name, though i can see trolls using it to their advantage why is there no report button? how are you guys going to know when someone breaks the rules?
