Borderlands Ending, wtf!? Explain
So I just got Borderlands game of the year edition 4 days ago and just beat it and I am very confused at the ending. Spoiler if you haven't played it: So you get to the vault and the destroyer comes out when its open and you smack it around, but then the vault closes? Wtf? Oh and the angel is a satellite? Was the destroyer the only thing in the vault? ????

Since the ending have been explained, I'll just share you my misery: It was easy as -blam!-. I barely moved at all! "O yeah, it's pretty big. This is going to be fu-" *few shots from my burst rifle* "What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-" and I only got the Zombie Island. Can't get more DLC since I play it on my banned Xbox and account... :( General Knoxx and Robolution looks fun oh and goddamnit, I can't get the extra costumes for Borderlands 2

The planet is Pandora, there is something sealed with promises of really awesome things in there, there is just really bad things in side. It is literally a rehash of Pandora's Box.

Borderlands 2 takes place like 2 years later. All the previous vault hunters reappear in it. It is more about trying to kill Handsome Jack. Who has done a pretty good job of taking over Pandora. It doesn't explain it well because the story was tacked on. Every 200 years the vault opens. The vault is filled with "alien technology". The tech is supposed to be a dimensional transport that lets out the destroyer. You kill the destroyer so that noone could have accidentally unleashed it. (speculation begins) The guardian angel is a satelite AI by what looks like the Hyperion Corp. Who apparently new the secret and Let it slip to the atlas corp accidently. The atlas corporation wanting a leg up on the interplanetary arms race wanted whatever was in the vault to do that, assuming it was weapons. So the Hperion corp created the Angel to guide the hunters to try and stop the atlas corp from opening it. They lied to you telling you of treasure in there to inspire you to get there first. When the atlas corp opened the vault, the pale chick died (one less higher ranked atlas member) and you stopped the destroyer problem. (spec over) This leads to the events in General Knoxx and is finished in the Robolution.

They couldn't come up with anything great to put in the vault, so they just cheated. The story is garbage, play it for the gunsssssssss

It was a little disappointing... the ending that is. The Mad Moxxi DLC and the Secret Armory DLC were amazing since it had Moxxi.

The ending was a real smack in the face of the gamer. But the DLC for Borderlands makes up for it. Speaking of DLC, I still need to beat Claptrap's New Robot Rebellion.

Honestly the only one that gave me trouble was Skagzilla, lol, and I don't think that was even part of the main quest[/quote]Depends what level you and your co-op buddies were. I always tried to fight them early on, and they were a -blam!- to fight. Also there's a few secret bosses if you look around.
