Marathon Feedback... Melee

This is going to suck against bots. They already slip and run, everyone that knifes bots knows this. Because not many are using max melee. All you did was narrow the gap. Now you need Knife Fight upgrades too. [i]Stats Fall Resistance +20 Hardware -10 [u]Melee Damage +50[/u][/i] See that? Before all you needed was the melee node... Hard Strike.exe; whether you cut those gains in half (-10 per rank) or limited the overall efficacy by stats per their benefits (-50%), it makes no difference... AS... you didn't need max Melee stat... all you needed was Hard Strike 3 or 2. Now you need both nodes. Hard Strike AND the Knife Fight upgrades. That doesn't even include affixes, other perks... plugs, chips, etc. I actually think this adjustment will make the situation worse. @Bungie for your consideration, please and thank you 😇👍💠

    Update: After some testing; the threshold is now 80 stat and very little changed as I predicted, let's bear that out with metrics: [u]Melee Base stats - [/u] Destroyer 15 Assassin, Thief, Rook 10 Vandal, Recon, Triage 5 Hard Strike.exe is +20 per rank (+60) Knife Fight is +30/+40/+50 So... Hard Strike 2, Knife Fight 2... and very little changes. Which, imo, makes the situation worse. Before all you needed was Hard Strike 2. At the threshold, it's 2L 1H for a purple shield. It used to be 2 Heavy. However, if you're on target nominal practically speaking. Why? Light attacks are faster, and use less heat. In fact, NO ONE was 2H'ing before outside of catching a looter unaware. What I'm saying... IS ... BEFORE... It was 2 Light 1 Heavy... or 1 H 2 L And NOW it's... 2 L 1 H You just need another node to buy blue Knife Fight mods. That's it. Practically the same... it just makes it even worse for casuals, those with terrible luck, those learning... It bolsters what is an intrinsic buff for skill gap, which would only make sense if the lobbies were separated, but they aren't. In close quarter, it has nothing to do with skill expression... the person with the upgrades will be just stronger.
