Hi, I’m an old Destiny 1 player. I’ve been playing since 2014 and I put hundreds of hours into the game. I played through all the expansions up until Destiny 2 came out, and I had a lot of gear, including many exotic items. Today I logged back into my PlayStation account, the same one I always used, and I found that everything is gone. My characters are missing, I have no gear, no progression, nothing. The game is asking me to create a new character like I’m starting from scratch. What confuses me is that when I search for my account on Destiny Tracker, I can still see all my old stats and activity. So my old account clearly existed and the history is still there. My Bungie account is linked to my PSN account, and as far as I know I’m using the correct PlayStation account, so I really don’t understand what happened. Has anyone had this problem before? Is there any way to recover my old characters and save data? Could this be an account link or sync issue? I spent a huge amount of time on this account, so I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks.
