These activities are not only supposed to have an escalating difficulty, but most random groups fail and there's never any lfg posts looking to do it either in game or on Xbox and presumably other platforms and lfgs have that issue too. Hell, with the armor reworks and such since EOF, we should be stronger now than before, yet more groups fail now than when these were introduced.
Make it make sense, I'd love for one of you to try and word it in a way that does.

Onslaught was a huge hit when first released and I'd still play it if it had match making. The problem now is it's difficulty is for 3 players which is hard to do solo. Another activity that was a huge hit was pantheon. Right of the nine was outstanding because I learned the dungeon mechanics giving me the ability to contribute to completing the actual dungeon with a fireteam. Why not keep pantheon and right of the nine but rotate the activities. I'm sure it's easier said than done but it's confused me why have popular activities for a short time but keep other activities players don't like or get bored with easily?

I wanted to run it at master level when matchmaking was on it but I always get a honeydew error, I cant be bothered trying it on grandmaster or ultimatum as that would not be my idea of fun. 🤷

It feels like the Portal Onslaught, the enemy damage scales with the power delta against the AHU. Often didnt have issue with staying alive, but an enemy gets near the AHU and it goes down super fast compared to when it was released. Without its activity specific loot, there really is no incentive to play them anymore. They are not really fun in the current build, but like everything ported to the Portal. So many great activities outside of the Portal, but absolutely zero loot incentive. Loot incentive is really the only thing the portal has going for it, but after 2-3 weeks, thats all gone (outside of the extra origin trait variants which you can get like 2-3 per week).

Well there's low incentive to engage the gamemode without the Brave Arsenal, as others have and will state. Additionally, there's so many activities in the Portal to choose from, that it makes sense many would ignore Onslaught in favor of easier and faster activities to obtain loot from. That's a separate issue though, that there's too many activities in Portal. It's good to have lots of farmable gear, but it's bad when the playerbase has low numbers and then gets spread super thin across the variety.
