Buff primaries.. against champs at least
I hate that I HAVE to use special weapons anytime there are champions in a run. There are a lot of legendary weapons that I like, and would like to use. But holy crap they are worthless against champions.
I know there are primary exotics to use, but even most of those are worthless.

The crazy thing is that they can make the game harder by simply adding more enemies that hit harder. No need to make enemies bullet sponges.

Enemies can nuke us easily so we should be able to do the same to them and yes i know GMs are supposed to be hard and challenging but at this point they’re more about inflated numbers than real difficulty

Against champions, definitely. We shouldn't have to unload a whole mag of any primary to stun a barrier IF we even do that much wherever they struggle to do so between -30 to -50 power. But also if you break it down we're doing noticeably less damage than before Renegades. We lost I think 10% from the artifact being reduced from 15% to 5% (technically we lost more than that if you count what the artifact was originally going to give us). Now add in the weapon stat and how if that scales like abilities do, we're doing even less than before EOF if it isn't at 70-100. On the low end if the weapon stat is included, that's roughly 1/5 of our damage.

Bungie adds Champion stunning to some exotic primaries....and they don't do squat. Go figure.

Agree. Here is my take. Since they are putting off the next expansion til -blam!- knows . Bungie can a least add a row or two to the artifact. This way maybe we can pack a little different. Getting really tried of the same old pack out and ability spam. I absolutely hate the use of the new heat vent reload of the new weapons.

7 AntwortenAgreed. I also find the special ammo economy is lacking. What's the point of running double specials if you're always hunting for ammo. I had a run where I was completely out of ammo, special and heavy. The drop rate was slow and the amount was low. In the past all you had to do was choose a special ammo mod, now it's tied to an ammo generation stat that's linked to multiple sources and can be nerfed and locked down by activity mods in the portal. Just not fun. It limits the game play.

Just slap Champs around with Ability Spam. Save gunplay for ad clear. I'll tell you what's worse than hitting a Champ with a primary. Hitting them with a Rocket or Heavy GL. Pathetic. Bungie has pushed everyone into their 80% Ability Spam P2W Prismatic MOBA. SO all that to say- Prismatic destroyed Destiny 2. You're left with the mess to enjoy whatever you can. Build around your primaries if you don't want to use Abilities. You HAVE TO have optimized perks and builds to make them effective. Surges, loads of Armor Charge pouring in, Fragments to enhance output (ie Volatile Rounds, Radiance, Unraveling, etc). I literally ran a 'dad build' all weekend with my buddy.
