Unable to Cross Save: Cannot Authenticate Steam
I am unable to re-activate cross save. I am linked to a Steam account that no longer exists (I had multiple Steam accounts and merged them) and it will not let me change or remove that Steam account from my profile. I previously disabled cross save in June 2025 in hopes that I would be able to reactivate with the proper accounts but that is not the case. I cannot reactivate cross save at all, for any platforms, Xbox or steam.
Please help remove the account linked to steam from my PlayStation profile, it prevents me from playing destiny 2 at all as I no longer own a PlayStation.

Bungie will not unlink on their end under any circumstances and have not made any exceptions to the policy. I've never heard of a Steam account merge; what did Steam do exactly?
