[/quote] I think the decline in faith, at least for a portion of players, started right after d1. The whole thing of Activision having bungie remove so much of what made d1 so widely played, even with its own issues, caused a lot of issues. I mean, having d2 launch with the removal of random rolls just to add them back in later. Then throw on the 2 dlcs that were well below par. I don't think anyone is ever going to forget about the most rewarding public event of 2 tokens and a blue. Granted, the reversal of a lot of d2 year 1 issues helped but it had already started a steady decline. [/quote] A portion of these people still would have been whiney and negative about everything no matter what had or hadn't happened. It seems to be an increasing trend in a fair amount of games lately. It gives those who dont want to just keep farming either for levels or gear, something else to play. I can definitely say, even with a return of SRL or addition of other gimmick or party modes, there would still be the same group of people currently coming to complain about something in them.
