I've received invitation from friend but not knowing what game mode I'm getting into. Right now, no way to know till after you joined. Then game gets launched and your Character not prepared. Help. And then weapons lock !!

Do you have text chat turned on ? You can click his name, and scroll down to select "send whisper"... you'll be able to send a message to him, that only he can see, and ask "what you running?" You can also just join & use your mic to ask "yo, what are you running?" lol
