No EXOTIC armor below 63 until they get integration into the new system.

2 AntwortenI miss the days exotics rolled above a 65-70 stat. Nowadays I just delete every exotic without even looking.

Bearbeitet von LikwiD_SmOkE22: 1/13/2026 12:31:41 AMThis is why I kept a bunch of exotics pre-eof .. nothing drops higher than a 62 now which is absurd. However 63 is too low. Id say a minimum of 65 is more acceptable

It’s so bad man. 99.9% are 60. It’s completely insulting. The complete system overhaul was designed necessary. They couldn’t just upped the values and added the perks to existing armor. It just seems useless. I can’t tell sure enough if the sh* even really works or is it just a placebo.

elitegtryin to work with whats left.. for now - 4/3/2026 12:46:30 PM
on one hand it makes organizing armor very simple - I want 62 in exactly this manner for my build.. and thats that... ...on the other hand the rest of my gleaming t5 75 stat duo combo perk armor is looking at the exotic like... oh thats so nice great grand pappy's here... ....if the exotic armor were removed and you could imbue that exotic magic unto your guardian..it might work -
13 AntwortenBack in the day, when an exotic item dropped, particularly a weapon, it caused one to hoot! If an armour item, it significantly made a difference to one’s load-out. That was then… Now, as many know, exotic engrams are virtually useless…and almost instantly deleted. Build crafting, which got ever more complex over the years, got us to where we now are… As a ‘vanilla’ build crafter, with the odd simple foray into that dark art, realised that it ain’t for me. I’ve leaned into one or two very basic enhanced builds, if they looked like a bit of fun, and were relatively simple to put together, eg, invis H, current W / T…and that’s about it. The flood of new 2- or 4pc armour sets, each with distinct abilities due to mix-and-match options, is so far beyond my interest or patience to try and use effectively, notwithstanding the extra pressure on vault space, and item management time, that I made a quick decision at the outset… Giver’s Blessing was my go-to gun, and the Techset armour gave it a boost…so, I set to ‘Specialist’, gathered a set, and deleted everything else! And that works for me. The few amongst us who scream the loudest for more / harder / faster, seem to be who BHQ are playing to the most….despite the rest of us asking quietly that they not raise the floor in tandem with the ceiling, has fallen on deaf ears, resulting in… Players leaving in droves. Players not engaging with activities. Blatant cheating across the board. Apathy, writ large! The first TWID should have been a rough plan for what’s in the pipeline, just to let us know what they are up to…and it should have been the top priority for their top people to prepare over the holidays, ready to share on day one of their return to work. That’s what would happen IRL - especially if your customer base was obviously very unhappy, and dwindling by the minute. Instead, we got a filler piece, replete with cupcakes and sponges, magnificently decorated as some of them were. And their ‘voice’ used in their written comments is akin to everyone’s favourite - Nimbus! ‘Hey, duuuuude?!…chillax, why don’t ya!?’ IMHO: BHQ/Sony - you’re playing to the wrong crowd. Though, I wonder, if that’s the plan…to let Destiny wither on the vine…’cause that’s what it looks like?! 🧐 The amount of customer goodwill that’s been squandered by BHQ - since D1Y1, beggars belief?! And now, with Sony / BHQ - it continues…?! Personally, I’m waiting to see how the Steam Game Cube launches, especially the price…if it’s reasonable, goodbye PlayStation…and, in all likelihood, Destiny, too! 🤔 That is all. TLDR: 🥳 Ease Springs! 🙄

2 AntwortenOr old max of 70. Atleast than it's comparable to teir 4. Being teir 3 is terrible and sometimes feels like an exotic is a detriment to your build(depending on its effect).
-
Just make them T5. Done.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von LivingTheorem: 1/11/2026 6:11:37 AMIt's actually crazy that exotics aren't worth getting since EoF. I insta delete any exotic armor I get that I already have a 69+ stat version of from armor 2.0. I thought Bungie said they were going to integrate Exotics into the tier system in Ash and Iron. Or am I tripping?

8 AntwortenExotic gear does not feel Exotic anymore...

5 Antwortenmeke all exotic max tier 4(75 stat) at base, and make end game content drop real 5 with 80 stats and the exotic perk enhaneced

2 AntwortenI’d be okay with them starting low if they give us a mechanic to upgrade them. Examples: - Get kills wearing this armor or complete activities with this armor. - Enhance with ascendant alloys or shards. - Upgrade via a new item or material we can earn. - Upgrade by using the armor in a new activity specifically designed for this. (Think similar to seasonal activities…complete them and slowly upgrade through the tiers on that exotic armor. Heck, you don’t even need to wear that armor IN the activity but go to a kiosk or altar or something upon completion and it lets you pick any exotic armor you have and upgrade it) Remember how we had to upgrade weapons and abilities to unlock them in D1? You could do something similar to upgrade through the tiers on exotic armor. Then instead of having to rely on RNG, I could get a tier 1 in the stat distribution I want and just work that specific armor up to a tier 5. Keep in mind, exotic armor isn’t “exotic” because of its tier level or stat count. Or even its rarity in acquisition. What makes it exotic is its unique perks that put it above other gear. So I don’t think a low stat piece of exotic armor is outside the realm of acceptable as long as they incorporated the opportunity to upgrade it.

2 AntwortenAll exotics should be re released at T5 stats and we should all get 20-30 more free rolls. Also the flex stat on exotics should be able to be swapped. Regular armor sets should be RNG
-
I believe all exotics should be T5 no matter what it looks funky when all your stuff has a tier but your exotic which i guess is only classified T2
-
So what you're saying is, make exotics so rare you'll never see one, and they'll drop at 55 highest. Oh, and nerf fusions. Haha
-
I think I have only used one new exotic drop in a build since stats changed and that is a Getaway Artist that was Grenadier and happened to have 63 points. All my existing exotics worked out better than the garbage popping out of exotic engrams. It's really REALLY rewarding to hear that exotic chime and find a 300 power 58 stat total exotic lighting up your inventory.........
-
The fact my build works in spite of having an exotic equipped and isn't purely benefited by having it equipped is just a wild oversight. Like I know it was an intentional decision, it's just not one i would have pulled the trigger on.
-
I second this motion. Exotic stats are already weak enough as it is. There is no valid reason why they should drop with less than the max their tier can get.
-
-
If they are to change it so it won't drop under 63, then they might as well have it drop at 75. Why change the stats twice ?

1 AntwortenThat literally makes no sense.
