Guardians please do mechanics in Lawless Frontir
Help!! Does anyone know how to carry
cargo? Set fuses?
I used my super to set up all the bombs in a sabotage run. The little hunter stood by the console and NEVER EXPLODED THEM!
Little idjit was twirling his sword and never set it off.
Don't get me going about carrying cargo!

1 AntwortenI do the mechanics so I can get done with the activity as soon as possible. I'm trying to complete contracts. If I want to -blam!- around and look for stuff or kill enemies, I'll load up a solo run.

If you have to carry crates, carry them in a vehicle. Preferably the Falcon as it's stupid fast, but you can carry them while in any of the vehicles including Behemoth.

I suspect these are the people that continue to believe Destiny is a "good game" and "worth their time" because from their perspective, they're just swinging a sword around and somehow things are getting done and they end up with loot at the end. They're basically forcing their Fireteam to do the content for them while they goof off and get rewards. I don't know if they're the smart ones here or not at this point.

I will use my walker or speeder and provide extremely good coverage for one person. Nobody picks up orbs. I get out of my vehicle and risk immediate death, team mate grabs the orb I’m about the grab. It all just comes down to people who don’t have a lot of experience running content with fireteams. They’re not familiar with finding a flow or adjusting their play style. Or even just differently aligned goals. Some people just never pursue the bonus objective or the stuff like glimmer capture hidden in the backs of the map. If I see my team is just playing as clear and damage or doing the bonus objectives, then I’ll focus on stuff like planting bombs or destroying crates etc. I’ll usually also go for the extra stuff in the back of the map too. It’s lame when your teammates mates never come over and help or at least reap the benefits, bc they’re just missing all the chests I spawn constantly

4 AntwortenIf I’m chasing an exotic keycard, I go in solo, at Expert / Private mode…just like I did the ghosts triumph. Occasionally, I opt to complete the contract / mission / bounty…and almost without fail, I get slotted by the overtuned hostile forces…and simply run out of revives near the end…so frustrating!? The Neomuna Overtuna (N.O.) vibe…😤 Roughly about 30mins wasted…when I’d rather pootle about the place - exploring…which is why an Explore Mode - no interaction with hostiles, is needed…as an option, of course! 👈👈👈 I absolutely don’t bother with smuggle missions…see above! I also tend to harvest everything! 😂 Now, working slowly on the vex clan loot bar …and 3x planetary crystals to drop, and I’m done. That is all. Ease Things! 🖖👻 MTFBWY

5 AntwortenThere are some bugs. I’ve had one where there was no interaction button to set the charges. My teammate was able to do them though. And I literally had to solo a mission yesterday because nobody joined my team. IME, most players are great and contribute to everything we’re doing. I’ve been avoiding the smuggle missions though - didn’t enjoy them first time round, but I’ll have to try them again and see if I feel any different.

I do all objects in lawless. I'll use the praxic to block while walking backwards, and once I'm clear, I'll jump and swing to lunge forward.

5 AntwortenWe don't want mechanics. We don't want jumping. We don't want comms. We want 70 IQ no mechanic activities where we cannot fail and I can feel a sense of control I can't feel in the real world because I'm unemployed and can't order a pizza over the phone.

18 AntwortenCarrying cargo is awful. I try to pull my weight on it but I tend to make a hash of things, so I've started attempting to cover teammates while they do so.

stop interrupting me....i've got orders to complete. lol smuggle is the worst though. hate carrying that crap all while getting decimated from the never-ending waves of spawning mobs. i usually just pop into a behemoth and follow those carrying the cargo and keep the mobs off them.

An eager edge sword will also help get you moving faster as long as you do not sprint you can get by fairly quickly. As for your teammates not PTO well that's just bad RNG with MM, wish I could give you a tip for that lol. Enjoy Destiny 2 Guardian 🫡🍻
