Only shots that hit the faces and rears from the outside trigger it. Any shots fired at the inner crushing walls do nothing.

Incorrect, as every time i go through that door i shoot it all the way through, including the inside. In one instance it will stop and start closing, and in another it will continue to open. It is just a 50/50. Either way it is poorly programmed.

I got one using Returned Memory shooting the outside and inside and another vid punching it. The outside makes a heavier pounding sound than the inside which sounds like smacking 2 rocks together. Take it from someone who's solo flawlessed this one; I know what can kill a run.

You do realize that this game is incredibly buggy, right ? Never assume that a bug or poor programming that is being reported, is fake. I literally told you that that i shot in a straight line through as i walked, and it either stayed open or closed. Just because you have done it solo flawless, that doesn't mean that you know every single thing about the dungeon. I have done a few solo flawless myself, but i didn't go in and tested every single thing you could possibly try. So you are telling me that you went in and tested every single weapons and abilities to see what effect it has on the door ? timed it and counted how much ammo needed to open it enough for you to walk through safely. You know, somehow i doubt it. And that is just the door, that is not to mention everything else in the dungeon. The door not responding to your shots has been an issue since launch.
The door not responding to your shots has been an issue since launch.
If you're shooting it with an autorifle, scout, pulse, or other pea shooter it takes a few but that door is like a spring. The stronger the bang the further it opens. Explosions=25%, rifles=2-3%. No glitch. Stop assuming there's bugs everywhere, the door is clearly a boobytrap. Go punch the inside and outside walls of them and then come back here and explain why they would produce a different sfx. I have no idea what you're talking about with the "since launch" bit.

You are either incredibly dense or stubborn. But i literally told you multiple times, that i shot the door and in one instance it opened all the way and in another it stopped halfway through and stopped responding to being shot. I don't have to assume that there are bugs every where since there is.

Skill issue.

I sure got my answer. Thick as a board.
