Did you fix it by any chance ?
I have the same issue with my Hunter and Titan, but I think is because actually I did not finish the Renegades campaing with those characters, only did with Warlock, and with Earlock I dont ahve the issue.
So it may be that the problem

Clear your cache like what Bungie suggested in this thread, it seemingly fixed the issue for me.

I have not. I finished the campaign originally on my Hunter, but I did my first dungeon clear on Warlock. I am unsure on what actually can trigger it. By the time I did the clear on Warlock, campaign was finished on that character too. I didn't do the dungeon on Titan until I finished the campaign for that character. I am aware that there were some other character based issues/bugs going around, like with the Lawless Frontier questline, where the fix for that was abandoning the quest on all three characters and claiming it again on a single character, which also reverted my quest step. So maybe the Display Hint bug is related to having multiple characters?
