I ran the catalyst quest solo using the timer glitch. I got all the way to the final boss, but the black blight recepticles kept resetting. I did everything I was supposed to up until that point. BTW, the reason I used the timer glitch was because the quest is extremely difficult to complete solo; the timer just made it way worse. I wound up giving up in disgust. Throw your juvenile "Skill issue" nonsense, I don't care. This quest is much harder than it needed to be. I don't have a dedicated fireteam, I can't find anyone on lfg whare also looking to do the cat quest. And there's no way to specify a cat quest in an ad that I know of. Bungie has finally driven me to quit D2. It's no wonder player numbers are dropping . The only players they're listening to are the longtime elites who've mastered this game a long time ago, and complain that's it's too easy. And because more difficulty means more playtime - and more likelihood of players buying worthless cosmetics, Bungie cowtows to them. I won't shed a tear when this game tanks.
