Positive for renegades
I know it can be tough to remain optimistic for this dlc coming out tomorrow but right now we as a community if we can rally together I think the dlc will be solid no it won’t save the game but it can help it get back on its feet hopefully slowly. Rally as one community and stay positive folks we can do this👌

36 AntwortenI played a couple of hours and I am sick of it already. The campaign is boring. SPOILER ALERTS. First you do steps 1 to 13. A mission, the usual go here and see this person about eight times, then a timed solo mission for some reason. Then more running about visiting people. And I got soft locked in the cantina. But that only gets you to starting the 45 steps of the second part. More running about visiting people. But Part 6 is doing jobs on Mars and Venus. And matchmaking is turned off for those so you have to go use Fire team Finder. Why would you turn matchmaking off ?? .. Why ?? I played two and a half hours and most of what I did was the usual Bungie fare of visiting people and hey, shoot these guys just because. It feels like it was designed to get you to spend as much time in game as they can squeeze out. And most of what you do feels like a tutorial. A boring one. And you have to do all this TWICE more ?? Bore off Bungie.

How about just being honest with yourself, give that a try. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't. You know being overly positive about stuff that hasn't earned it is a bad thing, right?

I’m not exactly sure why the Destiny community should support and rally around a company pushing a collab slop cash grab to fund Marathon, but you do you.

2 AntwortenLast 3 weeks has been rough in d2 ! Renegades is an improvement on EOF at least . I’ve seen a few clips of campaign. All looks pretty standard. I’m on the fence about buying . Hopefully this dlc will pull in new players and keep the ones left over .

2 AntwortenI've been really enjoying the new expansion so far, here's hoping it keeps up! The campaign seems really good, and the new settings are gorgeous, plus Nothing Manacles explodes everything within a one mile radius. I think Bungie just may have cooked with this!

So far story seems ok, feels like an episode not a full expansion. The new activity will get old in a week or so im only a hour or so in and they are already having you grind it out. Dont even get a new planet just a social space. Looks like bungie is doubling down on the portal and it feels like they are going to phase out the old map. Was hoping kepler would be added to it once renegades launched but no. Im not liking were destiny 2 is going. Love the updates to the classes but i dont get why bungie is killing all the immersion with the vendors and destination map to just a menu system.

Unfortunately I believe your wrong about getting the game back on it's feet. The same basic premise of difficulty based advancement still exists. You have to do the harder levels, time based, and do so without out dieing to exfill with rewards. All for the same RNG chance at a reward worth getting. It may not be the stupid portal, but it works exactly the same way. Oh and do not forget you have to earn reputation with multiple factions just to unlock abilities. It is designed wiht the same mind set from the devs, GRIND MORE!! Will I try it, yes. Do I expect it to be an improvement based of what they have released, NO.

Only positive is the gun feel of the new weapon types. Even then, there wasn't any fundamental system overhauls to praise. Nor is the story all that special. it's more destiny.

Deadass they didnt have time to change anything significant. My hopes are low and with their track record im sure ill still be disappointed. Gotta remember this dlc been baked for a while, with portal in mind. While id like to be surprised, im not counting on it. It'll be more of the same, the invasion endgame loop looks exciting for maybe a week. Everworse will still have all the cosmetics. There will be nasty game breaking bugs. And in about a month anything fun will get nerfed.sound familiar? It should cause its the same cycle every expansions had.

I’m enjoying the Star Wars aesthetic. That’s as far as expectations go for me for this season and I’m content with that.

First mission was cool. And that's about it. And they made the portal even more unplayable. This game is done.

I agree... I'm quite excited. I hope they populate the portal with more stuff though. We need at least another 6 or more solo ops.

Im excited. Got a 12 hour shift to do and im 90% sure by that time any server issues will be out of the way

Being positive is important... but Bungie's been going downward for years, and this little "up" (if it's like that) won't save the course they plotted in general. I will take a look into it. I bought "Year of Prophecy," but after those six months I'm gone. I've had enough of their ups and downs since 2017. There's this (recent) article on IGN with Tyson Green, and based on his experience of decades with Bungie, I wonder how "crazy" someone has to be to ruin also the little rest of what's left.
